Metal Reviews

Hi there,
I am a very frequent visitor of the website (almost on a daily basis) and I've noticed that not all new reviews are posted on the same day. Because of that the list is updated several times during a week and the later reviews (i.e. 1-2 days afterwards) are added in the same list as the ones posted on monday. The problem is that it's very hard for the reader to distinguish which reviews are newly added and which are the ones already read. In my opinion this is due to the alphabetical listing of reviews.

My suggestion is to change the sorting/listing of the latest reviews page to a "date added" instead of alphabetical. In this way, the reader will always be in a position to remember which reviews are already read and which are not yet seen.

I hope this makes some sense and doesn't fall on deaf ears. Thanks for the awesome site!

Maybe it happened once or twice, but certainly not more often. The upadate is on Monday, and if reviews are written one or two days after, they'll appear on the site with the next update/Monday. I hope that cleared things up.

Updates are only done on Mondays. That's the way it's always been, long before even I became a reviewer here.

That's what I thought as well but lately it has happened a few times that I check the reviews on monday and I see 5-6 of them. Then I recheck on tuesday and there are 7-8. Maybe I'm wrong or maybe I checked during the update of the page (?). If so sorry for the comment, but otherwise it's something to keep in mind.

I think it's just you checking at the exact moment of the update. If I didn't, then someone else would have noticed an additional review thread just popping up out of nowhere. If you see it again though, it would be great if you would inform us at the exact moment, and which reviews are in question.

Yeah, Mike updates them at around 7am EST on Mondays. He's definitely not added more during the week.
