exactly, but i think this problem is easily solved... if you're a reviewer and you don't like black, don't review black metal at all... yet it happens all the time... if you do like black then it is okay, of course, to review the "crappy" black metal even though you don't like it, else we wouldn't get anything but albums that get 80/100 - 100/100... of course, someones "crappy" black metal could be another guys "good" black metal, since the genre has spread in many direction... so, don't make a guy like Misha or me review norsecore

Exactly. I told them to not ask me to review any black metal or death metal because generally I dislike that shit. If I discover a band on my own and like it, I will review it. Alternatively, I do like some black metal and death metal bands so if any of those bands release a new CD and I dislike it, I would also review it.
Generally, though, I don't think reviewing a CD by a band you don't know in a genre you don't like is very fair.
