I reckon that metalreviews needs to review entire discographies for a lot of bands, unless it's either impossible to find or absolutely horrible.

Are you volunteering?

Or if you just want complete discographies without reviews try www.metal-archives.com

that's a pain when you consider the amount of bands that change their style from album to album, eg Enslaved, In the Woods.. and Ulver; just because one album from a band's discography appeals to you doesn't mean to say that they all will.

I will say that there are a lot of important bands that don't yet have their full discographies reviewed here. Iron Maiden, Candlemass, etc etc.. and a significant amount of the population of the world are familiar with these albums. Maybe I'll write up a review for the old Candlemass CDs, although I know I wouldn't be able to declare them as classics that way.

Hey, somebody should. I thought about doing that as well, its not a bad idea. You can't have a review of the new one only, as many sites do. That's a travesty.

IMO we should get someone to review more Black and Death Metal classics. There are gaps where there shouldn't be, such as Satyricon.

Reviewing CDs is not easy, guys. You're taking this site too personally. If you want more Candlemass reviews you can find them anywhere online. It's almost like you think "this is my house, I want them here."

Alternatively, I could contribute to this site by writing some reviews myself.

So contact Metal Reviews. I'm sure they'd be willing to see what you can bring to the table.

Another noticeable gap in the back catalogue is the total absence of Celtic Frost reviews. But, of course, newer releases such as the new H.I.M. album have more priority.

If I hadn't forgotten to bring my copy of To Mega Therion to my father's house, then there'd be a Classic of it this week.

Always next week.
