ok I realise you guys are running older stuff or whatever but come on, literally every forum I've ever been on has a feature which limits the size of the avatar pictures, you've gotta be able to do that right? bringing this up because even the avatar prior to the one I just deleted was too big and it's been bugging me since I joined

We trust every member of these forums to be reasonable enough with the size of their avatars, so far, it worked.

in theory that approach works out, the avatar I had intended to use seemed small when I first viewed it but when I brought it here ended up being larger then I initially thought and since I can't find the red Death logo I had prior and don't feel like going through a heap of trial and error BS I'll just stick to not having one, but thought a suggestion of this type couldn't hurt

I've seen slower

other forum I was (past tense is important here as of today this is my only forum) on underwent updates, no warning mind you, promised to be back up on the third of December, well it's now the ninth (down here eighth I should think in the US/Europe) and no sign if said forum coming back online

This.

Open your picture in Paint. Click 'resize'. Resize it.
