I need a little help with my user profile.

Sorry for the noobiness of this, but I'm actually just wondering how in the hell one reduces an image size to 1kb for use as an avatar.

Without completely destroying the image i mean. Or making it tiny. I see a bunch of avatars here that are decently sized pics, but there's no way I can figure out to make a pic that size just 1kb.

Anyway, would appreciate the help.

actually, you do not have to reduce the size... You can just host it elsewhere (http://tinypic.com/, no registering needed) and copy/paste the link to "Link to off-site Avatar" on your profile...
