On global domination they have rated Spawn of Possession a 4/10.
It seems to me that's a little too much.

Sad to miss you on reviews buddy, you were the only one that could write like a writer is supposed to, which I could see back in the quality of your reviews. I'd probably have done the same thing in your situation though, as a matter of fact, I did.

At least this one can't be blamed on me ...
And even though "Sad to miss you on reviews buddy" is right, don't you think "you were the only one that could write like a writer is supposed to" is a little much?
Maybe I should resign too and see if any one will cry. I need to grow thicker skin right away

Nah, seriously, me and Aaron did have a parting talk and I understood why he was leaving. I also happen to think GD will fit him well. They are not shy on the words there. It is too bad Aaron did not give me his reasons sooner, perhaps I could have saved the situation. Life will move on for everybody, however. I am sure Aaron will be fine, MR too.

Haha, no hard feelings anymore Alex, you know that. I still think Aaron is the only one who could write like a writer. I mean a professional writer. Writing reviews is a whole different world compared to the world of novels, so it does not necessarily stand for the quality of a review, but it does make them fun to read! Aaron put stories into them and they were well written, that's what I ment discussing his talent. I may not necessarily think his reviews are best, but I do think he's the only one with real writer tallent.
Ow and Alex, you should really resign writing metal reviews ;) I'd like to see how you do on other genres actually...

NP: Vágtázó Halottkémek - Teach Death A Lesson

Try this Alex, if you want to find out where the guy from Thy Catafalque got some of his ideas from. This is the awesome folk/metal/spacerock/something. Any album should do the trick, I have them all.

I will miss Aaron. At first I really thought he was quite an asshole. Arrogant and ignorant, but he kind of changed his way of being and I kind of did the same, and now I can say he is a great guy and one of the coolest I met here at MRs.com.

Great reviews, and great style. I'm sure you'll do good wherever you write, too bad it won't be here.

Good luck.

Quite an insult this is, eh? I'm a published author, so I could care less, but goddamn there are a lot of excellent writers on this review team.

Obviously, the young man's profressional approach to the "job," and his taste for tunes, usually untouched by the site, will be missed. However, let's not overstate anything. I've seen an incredible improvement in the writen works of ALL reviewers here.

That being said, I think perhaps, just perhaps, it was influenced by Dead Machine's style, the obvious talent fuming (up our fucking noses) from a consistant streak of hard-hitting reviews that was hard to ignore. It was a case of leading by example.

Sad to see his leadership ended there. He probably, like many, had a confidence of excellent ideas rejected. That'd be my guess, but, I really don't know. This really sucks. But, we still have a VERY strong set of reviewers to look up to, so, influence aside, Dead Machine's loss isn't the end of legitimate reviewing here. Rather, I think it is a beginning for some of the new guys, and perhaps even the old guard who seem overlooked at times by forumites (including me) of the Death/black variety.

I'm sorry you're insulted. I've read just one or two of your reviews, as you are into completely different music than I am. Unfortunately I can't remember them very well either, so you've got to know that in the consideration of the reviewers ability to write I didn't take you allong. I'm glad you found another point to make a flamewar about (;)), but it's not going to happen. By the way, Nathanael is a great writer too, but just not with the creativity of Aaron, or at least not shown in the reviews. The writing tallent is not a very large aspect of a review says I, that's why I still consider Alex to have written the best reviews I've read here so far, I've always caried that opinion. I hope you can see what I mean with the difference between writing well, like almost everyone on the team can, and have a load of talent, which I still think very few have. Aaron, Flingon surely, maybe Nathanael, but I'm sorry to say that the list of what I read ends there.

Edit: yeah OFC, you should review too, I heard you are a great writer (I've never read any works from you), so that's gotta be cool!

You wrote a piece on the forums a while back, it was stunning. Nathanael is a reviewer...

aah yes..i read one or two of his reviews i think but if i remember correctly he hasn't write any new one.And about my 'writing', i don't think i could review sth..first of all because my knowledge about music and even metal is limited and second..i wouldn't have the balls to post it here
