Seriously, this is great! It'll probably turn out to be the KKK, but for a while at least we can let our imaginations run free. "Duelling banjos of unholy blackness", anyone?

lol why would the KKK burn down a church? perhaps they were burning some dude on a cross and the fire spread?

churches are pretty ugly anyway, I'm all for them being reduced to cinders.

Are they black churches? If so, it was almost certainly racist-motivated, and I can't condone it. If not, then maybe there are some brain cells in the American south...

It was both black and white churches, apparently.

Hmm. They'd better not do too many in one area, else they'll get caught for sure. You have to move around, to survive as an arsonist.

Yeah I'm begining to wonder if there is some BM connection since it has been white and black churches. The only other explaination I can think of is the arsonists hate Bapists in particular, since every torched church has been Bapist.

Not necessarily. There's more Baptist churches than fleas on a hound down south. Speaking from experience.

I used to live down south myself. Not every southern church is Bapist, just most. I can't really think of another non-BM explanation, can you? Maybe these guys are just showing off and don't want to kill people so they figure churches in the middle of the night is a good way to make sure nobody dies.

True, but they're plentiful enough that it's not unreasonable a random church arsonist would hit all Baptist churches. Of course, maybe it's someone with a grudge against Baptists. I know we'd all immediately think of a bm connection, but that's not necessarily the first thing the rest of the world would assume. Given that nothing is known about these arsonists, I'm hesitant to say it's bm-related.

It's very unlikely to be BM, as much as we want it to be. Probably just a couple of fucknuts who get their kicks setting things on fire.

Interesting point: we're being a lot nicer about them than we were to that Novak weirdo.

Being from Texas I back this up.

In my town there is a church on every corner, mainly Baptist. Oddly, enough, across the street from said churches, is usually a Liquor Store. Oh the irony.

So, burn the churches and leave the Liquor Stores! :wink:
