"a Turkish movie shows American soldiers in Iraq crashing a wedding and pumping a little boy full of lead in front of his mother.

They randomly machine-gun dozens of people to death, shoot the groom in the head and drag those left alive to Abu Ghraib prison — where a Jewish-American doctor cuts out their organs, which he sells to rich people in New York, London and Tel Aviv."

All this and more in the most expensive Turkish movie ever made...

A payback for Midnight Express, a payback for 24, whatever you call it. American hatred is no news here, something like this was coming. I'm glad that it didn't pass USA without notice.

The original series was an undercover agent getting into the mafia in Turkey slowly rising to power while destroying everyone and everything on it's way by the government's will, cleaning filth the country from the inside. It was full of national pride, a lot of people love it, it sort of united the whole nation. But I haven't watched it more than 3 episodes. Too much nationalism for me.

And about Billy Zane, Al Pacino or Robert de Niro was supposed to play the role, but they didn't have the balls to do it. Go figure.
