Precisely. Money buys metal, and metal makes me happy. |

Money buys: Porn Sex Metal Food And the above makes me happy so if money+porn+sex+metal+food=happiness then money=happiness. |

It's a double-edged sword. It can bring happiness but can also ruin you if you get carried away. |

If I won the lottery I'd give a good chunk of it to charity, buy every cd on my wish list, and many many other things. So that would make me happy, but only momentarily. So money buys short term happiness, but doesn't bring fulfillment to one’s life. IMO |

Money only creates unhappiness when you possess a vastly different amount than those around you. If you have too much, everybody wants some of it, if you have too little then you just want what everybody else has. |

money = no need to work = total freedom = travel the world = buy private land/islands = pretty much do whatever the fuck you want. |

Yeah it does buy happiness if you use it properly. Even if you don't use it properly it will probably bring you happiness in the short term (unless you invest in a pyramid scheme). |

No because to be happy I would need to feel like I earned what I have. Of course, if I bought what I have with money I earned, I'd be happy- but not if £10000000 just materialised in my bank account. If that was the case I would probably become a mjor philanthropist. (I hope!) Also, I imagine in the long run to be happy I would need romance  |

It depends on how much time you spend thinking. If you don't think much, then money will bring you happiness. If you think a lot, you'll probably get depressed and pay thousands to some psychiatrist to tell him about your nonexistent problems, overdose on Xanax and be found in the gallery wing of your yacht, slumped beneath a Van Gogh original. |

Money does not buy complete fulfillment or complete happiness. But it certainly helps. |

Money's an artifact brought about by my subconscious. If I were to assert my will, everything would free to me in my own universe as it is brought into being by my whim. going to bed. let's hope my subconscious doesn't do any gambling while I can't pay attention. |

To take an extreme example, what about our hunter/gatherer ancestors? They were probably relatively happy with their natural and social riches. I think it's just inequality that makes people unhappy. Or maybe happiness is the wrong word. A more superficial word like satisfaction might be more appropriate. |

going to bed. let's hope my subconscious doesn't do any gambling while I can't pay attention. Your want may be a manifestation of your subconscious, but the exchange of goods is an inherent reality. Everything would be free if you limited goods to mental constructs. |
