It's amazing: There are several fans on this board, and yet nobody volunteered to make a thread about him yet.
His Website (with his reviews)
For those who don't know, The Nostalgia Critic (real name: Doug Walker) reviews and lampoons bad 80's and 90's TV shows and movies, much in the same way The Angry Video Game Nerd reviews bad video games from that same time period. Being that I was a kid during the 80's and 90's, I'm definitely no stranger to the kinds of films and TV shows he reviews. Here are some of my favorite reviews:
Batman And Robin - Admittedly, this is the only Batman movie (excluding the 1968 TV series spin-off) I haven't seen yet. However, I can't decide if this review makes me want to stay as far away from it as possible or watch it out of curiosity. If just to see what's unofficially "The Movie That Killed Alicia Silverstone's Career."
Kazaam - Wow. It seems anything The Shaq touches turns to goo. First rap music and now movies? What's next: Video Games?
Errrrrr,
wait a minute
Tom And Jerry: The Movie - Being a fan of the classic MGM cartoons, I cannot believe what Warner Brothers did to them with this film. Giving them voices? Making them FRIENDS? Geez!
His Nickelodeon Month Reviews - Being a fan of Nickelodeon from the late-80's until about mid-1996 (ie. until I was about 14), it was interesting to see his take on a lot of my favorite Nick shows at the time. Even though I completely disagree with him on some of them (Salute Your Shorts =

)
Titanic: The Animated Musical - Already gave my thoughts
here, but it's still probably my favorite of his reviews. It's Party Time!
North - This review was IMO freaking hilarious. There was one part, though, where Doug seemed like an idiot: The part with the plane skidding on the ice. I think it's pretty clear what Mr. Reiner was going for with that scene. You see the plane uncontrollably skidding on the ice, heading for a giant window. You expect a loud/violent crash, but instead, you just get a gentle bump. It was still a very poorly executed gag. But I think it's pretty obvious what the joke was supposed to be.
Oh, and Bruce Willis (one of my favorite actors) in a bunny suit? Something that just should never be.
Casper - My seventh grade art teacher actually played this movie for us at the end of the year, and even then, I thought it was pretty lame. The CG was cool, though.
The Star Wars Holiday Special - Need I say more?
