| Post subject: | Forum Rules - EVERYBODY READ |
1. NO hardcore pornography of any shape, size, or nature is to be posted 2. Links to softcore pornography are acceptable outside of the Review threads, and with a NSFW warning. Do NOT post the actual pictures on the forum. 3. NO racism is to be expressed. NO racist terms, either. NO homophobia or similar minority-hatred will be tolerated. 4. NO spamming the forum with your advertisements for blogs, bands, websites, piano lessons or trained monkeys. Keep it to Promote Your Band – yes, EVEN IF you’re not promoting a band. 5. Do NOT post links to uploaded/pirated music or anything else on the forum. Private Messaging is there for a reason. 6. Multiple accounts are an abomination, and will be cracked down upon. Use ONE account to post only. 7. Try to be friendly and of a cheery disposition. The Metal Reviews formites are tolerant, happy people but they will flame idiots who insist on starting stupid arguments. 8. Try and keep on-topic in the Reviews and Classic forums. 9. Put stuff where it goes. Put links to funny videos in the Funny Video thread, put pictures of yourself in the Faces thread, and so on. 10. No moving GIFs for avatars. Try and keep avatars to a sensible size, too, and obviously the first couple of rules apply here too. 11. The chief moderators (just Goat, at present) are not to be disobeyed. If they ask you to do something, damn well do it. 12. Violating rules 1 and 3 are bannable offences. The other rules you’ll get a stern warning, first. ADDITION - if you see a spambot, please don't reply to any of their nonsensical posts. That way their malign presence can be removed without trace. |
