The 'quitting acting to focus on music' part seems to be true, looking for a more reliable source on the rapping part.

That's the only Herzog you've seen? Watch Grizzly Man. I've only seen like two or three or his films but he's one of my favourite directors. Pretty awesome guy in real life, too.

That made me have more respect for him, actually. He seemed quite a nice guy in all the interviews and stuff, beforehand he just seemed an absolute twat.
