This place has significantly slowed down since about two years back. People have left, or they just lurk now and not post. I don't know really. Nonetheless, if you are lurkers and lazy in posting, please come back. I have never been able to leave this place for good. I have left for long periods of time, but always came back. Post in the now playing thread. Post your recent purchases. Post bands your enjoying at the moment and share your enthusiasm like Husker does. Stop being lazy and shy. If that is really the case.

I've been more interested in TV than new music lately, but I still like talking about it here.

No use in making topics that only get three or four posts.

I need to make something controversial, but PG13 so Zad doesn't spill his coffee on his laptop.

Go for it; I'm sure even you can manage something wittier than hundreds of posts of gay porn.

I've been wondering how it is possible that a site called metalreviews.com could have such a small active userbase on their forums. So I did a Google search of "metal reviews" and this site comes up first, no surprise there. But if I do a search of "heavy metal reviews" we are nowhere to be found but the other popular sites like Blabbermouth, Metal Sucks, Metal Rules, etc show up.

The other thing I noticed is that if you go to the homepage, the browser title simply says "Home" (here's a screenshot). Pretty sure if you changed that to read something more accurate (i.e. "MetalReviews.com | Heavy Metal reviews, news, interviews) the site will show up on those search results.

I'm not saying it's entirely because of Google that we have low traffic but it's just one of those simple fixes that could get more visitors.

I'd better get my opinion ready for the onslaught of new posters brought in by this critical subject. :D
