Anyone play their Wii or DS online? I'd certainly be up for some Mario Kart or GH III with you guys. If so put your friend codes here!

(This'll probably be one of those threads of mine that gets no attention  )

I'd play if I had a Wii.

As soon as I hook my wii up online, I'll post it here. Unfortunately, I don't have any online games, and probably won't until smash bros. unless I decide to get Battalion wars II.

I envy you.. quite a lot, in fact.

the reason why i want a Wii right now is because of new Super Mario games and the new Zelda game and the old retro games, including some of the old golden N64 games, which i never got to play.

The last choice is of course between the 360 and ps3. The games are more or less the same, as is the power of the machines. Sure I'll miss out Halo, but i'll get other games in return.
My "only" fear with the ps3 is that the 360 will drag the ps3 down concerning games realesed on multiple platforms, due to the limited amount of space on 360's normal dvd's. I think i read that the new GTA was programmed according to the amount of space on 360's dvd, which sucks!!! It was hard enough to make it fit back on the ps2 (SA)

Right now i want the Wii the most, because i think the top games looks more interesting than the ones on 360 and ps3. But i do have a question to those who already posses a Wii: aherm...

How accurate is the Wii remote control, and does it react 100% in real time in the games?

this is very important to me, cuz I don't want to calculate my movements ahead :)

It's in real time and very accurate, although you have to factor in how the game programmers configured the controls. Games like Metroid Prim 3 and Medal of Honors Heroes 2 have some of the best Wii controls out there at the moment. Tight swift and very responsive. Some first generation shouters where so so but thats about it.

argh... I couldn't take the pressure any longer. The other day I bought a nintendo Wii (weee) along with Super Mario Paper ( they didn't have Galaxy in store, but this game is genius too) and the new Zelda game. Despite both games are a tad too childish for me, they are still great fun.
I'm also very impressed and suprised by the controller system. I thought it only worked if you pointed at the screen, or rather the sensor bar. But when you play games where you hold the remote control sideways you can block the signal of the pointer thingy, and it still works. So there must be some kind of radio transmitter inside too, nice! You can play while laying in the bed, just like with the wired controllers of old. I luv that.

I was hoping to hop online, but i need an adaptor first, cuz my internet connection doesn't fit into the Wii.

Is the mario cart you want to play the one from Virtual Console?

Nope. It's the DS version.

Reviving this mothafucka because Smash Bros is out! Just been playing it for the past forty five minutes, goddamn solid stuff (the final smashes are sick, and I tried out some great new characters, Pit and King Dedede). My Wii code is 6953 0875 7184 0608. People, post your codes and let us rock and roll!

I posted that one before trying to play Smash online- that one's my regular Wii code. But Smash Bros. Online uses a different code that gets assigned to you- the one I gave to you. Here's my Smash Bros. number:

1246 8386 7793

I played online with some friends before, and it was damn good fun.

I was supposed to play online with Brahm, but he never showed. So I ended up playing with another friend online, and yes it was fun. It's also cool that you can have 1 to 3 people on one Wii and still play online. I likey I likey.
