it's looking better and more organised than i expected, but i doubt it'll get them anywhere. even if it doesn't destroy the church, if they manage to show the world just how ugly the church is on the inside it'll be good enough.

i think scientology is worse than any moderate religion. there are well-intentioned priests and what not, but i find it hard to believe that anyone within scientology is in it for anything but money.

I actually know somebody who attended one of these Scientology protests. What drove her to do it was an incident she heard about where a woman died of pulmonary embolism at a Scientologist retreat. Apparently, the woman demonstrated signs of serious illness the whole time and nobody suggested that she be transplanted to a hospital. Pretty creepy stuff, I would think .
