Geez, I'm almost on a streak here. First The Raid, now this piece of shit. Why do people like these films?

You really think it's that bad? I found it highly enjoyable. Just a lot of goofy, over the top fun. I wasn't expecting more than that, maybe that helped.

I didn't find it fun at all. Halfway into the thing I found myself thinking "is this it? when is it going to get good?"

SPOILERS BELOW

I didn't even go into it with a bad attitude, I honestly didn't like anything about it. I mean, the scooby doo-gang was completely uninteresting because their characters were supposed to be silly I guess, which doesn't add anything to the film. On top of that, they're being taped by a bunch of dicks, which removes any tension or excitement from the film. So what's left? Only the idea that it's a fresh new take on horror films or whatever Joss Whedon was going for. It was pointless to me.

english title: Weekend at Dunkirk (1964)
A great movie about soldiers trapped around Dunkerque in 1940 who are trying to live and leave.

Why do generally people fawn over comic book movies? Sometimes it is just a better idea to not think (or post) about it.

Watched Guillermo Del Toro's The Orphanage last night. Very good film, very creepy, and even though the ending left me somewhat perplexed, it left me satisfied as well.

Slap Shot - PAUL NEWMAN! Also, hilarious and depressing. One of those great films that leaves you wishing you knew more about the subject matter, in this case, hockey.

Great film, that. Paul Newman never fails. If you're a Newman fan, see a western called The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean. Absolutely brilliant film about an outlaw that takes over a town and declares himself it's 'judge'. Newman gives the most intense performance of his career.

I love Paul Newman, a lot. Have heard of Judge Roy Bean before but not seen it, will have to see if Netflix has it for today. :)

The Campaign

I let the donkey at the petting zoo lick my penis.

The old man down the street lets me drink beer and touch his wife's tit.

I touch myself to Drew Carey on the Price is Right.

There's lots if good things about that movie but the best is the ending. Just when you think it's going to be the same old underdog bullshit - nope. Awesomeness instead.

I love the very first scene where the guy is tryin to interview the goalie and ask him about different penalties all the while struggling with his microphone chord.
