Not sure about the best I've seen, but saw it yesterday and it was very good. Loved Loki ('mewling quim' is my new favourite phrase).

I should say, best superhero team movie then. I think this blows the first three X-Men films away and of course makes me cringe when I think of the absolute failure that was the Fantastic Four films. For me, The Avengers and X-Men: First Class are the best hero team films so far. I would love to see a Justice League film on par with The Avengers but DC Comics seems lost when it comes to making movies.

I'd agree with that (not that there are lots of superhero team films to compare to!). But yep, hopefully Joss'll get more directing work, he's a touch of class...

I'm kinda afraid the new Avengers flick will be just masturbatory explosions, but in a more intelligent manner than Bay given the Whedon contribution. Someone please confirm this to be untrue.

Watched Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang again. At first it annoyed me more than before, but by the end it was making me laugh.

But I like it so much.

Horrible Bosses. Not super great. Crass humor that wasn't super funny.

There are two extended action sequences, and the pacing is excellent. You can see every scene, everything that happens, there's space for humour and the badass effect to shine. The buildup to the Hulk is excellent, he's only used sparingly (as he should be). My girlfriend came to watch it with us, and she said she was very surprised by how much she enjoyed it. I thought it was amazing, got a really visceral reaction out of me.

Oh he better!! Showing Thanos at the end of the movie was such a fanboy tease. Just think how awesome it would be to see The Infinity Gauntlet on big screen, uuuhhh....

Was not a fan of that one. Kinda turned me off Lynch although I might check other stuff out since people I respect have nice things to say about him.

Friends are trying to get me to watch Twin Peaks but the pilot was so slow.

Lynch is pretty take it or leave it in my opinion.

I thought the first season of Twin Peaks was actually, great, if you are paying half-attention to it.

It's all about the weirdness, that one. I do enjoy Lynch in certain moods, but you have to be in the right frame of mind for it. Blue Velvet's great, to mention one that no-one else has.

Blue Velvet is a cult classic, and I think that everyone should watch first season of Twin Peaks, it's something really good. As for the rest of Lynch movies, I don't know, you gotta love this kind of stuff.
