I took the boy to go see Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance which was awful. Marvel needs to fire Avi Arad immediately.

The Hangover: Part II

Meh. Had its moments, but seen it all before. Definitely the crazier of the two movies.

Planned to go see the Avengers last night, but when we got there the queue was so long that we saw Cabin in the Woods instead. Which was awesome. Fucking amazing.

It's definitely like no horror movie you've ever seen. It's also pretty funny to, but it's intentionally funny not a so stupid it's funny. If you know what I'm trying to say.

Yeah this movie surprised me as well. I figured it was going to be shit like most new horror movies, but I was pleasantly surprised.. It wasn't the best movie I have ever seen.. It was a a breath of fresh air in a stagnant genre though... I agree, the scene when everything comes out of the elevators was pretty fucking cool!

Finished Sherlock Holmes and loved it. Just very similar to the recent TV remake in the way Sherlock observes situations...a bit weird.

Saw The Avengers tonight and absolutely loved it. Some laugh out loud moments. Josh Whedon should direct all superhero movies.

We just returned from seeing 'Avengers' which is simply the best superhero film I've seen. Joss Whedon is a fanboy's dream as he understands how to write a solid story and translate it to the screen. The guy is a genius.
