That series, Walking With Dinosaurs, and Earth are so great.

The Girl Who Played With Fire - Lacks the involving mystery of the first film, but still worth watching if you like the characters and are willing to accept things getting a lot sillier. Haven't read books, so can't compare.

They are fantastic. I bought a combined collection from Discovery that has Life, Nature's Most Amazing Events, Planet Earth, and Blue Planet. I also bought 'Inside Planet Earth'. The sales during Thanksgiving were hard to ignore. All of this stuff was about 75% off. I also bought National Geographic's Nature Collection and Nat Geo Magazine on DVDROM. Every Nat Geo magazine since 1888 on disc.

We saw it when it was in theaters and people were absolutely sobbing at the end. I mean, I watched grown men walk out with red watery eyes and sniffling.

i had to fight back the tears with that one. closest i've come to crying because of a movie since that part in Bambi when his mother dies. excellent film and the best possible end to the Toy Story series... hope they don't try to top it, because they can't.

seriously guys, watch Toy Story 3.

What the fuck. I know nothing of this and why it would cause tears.

Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol - despite being in a cinema full of chav scum, still managed to enjoy this. Some breathtaking action sequences...

Agreed, Buzz, Woody, and the rest of the gang couldn't have hoped for a better way to go...

It's amazing, relentlessly tugs at your heartstrings. Hard to explain, but by god, if you're not in tears by the final 20 mins you are not an emotionally-assured male. Growing up was never this traumatic...

We watched 'Margin Call' ( a movie describing the first firm responsible for the 2008 economic collapse) and 'Rabbit Hole' (a couple's 4 year old child dies after running out into the street. The film chronicles their struggle dealing with the loss). meh...

Totally fucking amazing. Can't recall what movies came out in 2011, but I believe this is the movie of the year. I didn't have very high expectations even though I fucking love Robert Downey Jr. and I thought the first film was good.

I was blown away by how entertained I was throughout the entire thing and especially one scene where they were being chased by germans was breathtaking. The techniques and special effects used were incredible, made me reminisce about seeing The Matrix for the first time. People were laughing, gasping and applauding, it was awesome.

Hobo With A Shotgun.
Surprisingly a good movie under its violent exterior.

Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows

Good daft fun for the most part (Rachel McAdams AND Noomi Rapace? ) but Jared Harris' Moriaty was brilliant.
