Agreed on Hathaway, never seen the appeal. Acting-wise. I'd actually rather that Nolan just brought Scarecrow back properly and made him the chief villain, he was one apocalyptic mofo in the comics and getting zapped by Mrs Cruise was a sad downfall.

Just finished Get Him To The Greek, fucking hell, what a fucking shitty unfunny fucking film. If you like seeing fat people throwing up in place of comedy and an unfunny comedian not being funny, then by all means waste your life to this bollocks.

127 Hours. Excellent movie, but definitely not for the squeamish.

Oh, and it gets a massive respect boost from me just for having Festival by Sigur Ros playing during the final scene.

Oh you've got to be kidding me! Hathaway as Catwoman? Bleh...well Inception was pretty good.

I've read that Dr. Hugo Strange will be in the new Batman, just haven't announced it yet.

Hugo Strange would be an excellent choice, he is one of the best villains in Batman. I thought he was not an option since I read that Tom Hardy was gonna be Hugo, but he turned out to be Bane. Now looking at news I guess Hugo can still be in this movie. And the name Robin Williams is around. That would be very interesting.

Planning on watching Antichrist either tonight or this weekend. Anyone here seen it? Everyone I've talked to that has says it's one of the most twisted and intense movies they've ever seen.

Seen it. Beginning is good, ending is good, the in-between is absolutely fucking terrible.

Eh, people keep raving about it so I'll have a go at it eventually.

Watched a few movies over the week:

The Big Lebowski - Classic, of course!
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - The "Let's go through Jim Carrey's memories" setup is neat, even if the love story is unoriginal. I still enjoyed it.
The Fountain - Eh.
Black Dynamite - Not as funny as everyone claims it to be, but it's still pretty goddamn funny.

Harsh Times. Don't really know what to think about it actually. It had some really intense moments and Christian Bale was awesome as always, but overall the movie was pretty meh.

+1. I think the intense moments made it fine it's just not great. It's kinda just one of those movies that may be so real that it isn't fun to watch.

Finally got around to watching Inception.
Was pretty good, actually.

^Most definitely. Eternal Sunshine never gets old. I watched Tombstone for the umpteenth time the other night. I'm ashamed to say it's my favorite Western but it is soooo good.

Yeah it was. Tone down the guns and it becomes excellent.

Favorite Western? Hmm. Haven't seen many, but I really liked Unforgiven.

But is it bad that Tombstone is my favorite despite having seen those? I guess what I'm asking is 'is it good?' or am I being duped by Val Kilmer's awesomeness.
