Which films? Zerkalo was a bit too slow but still very worth watching. I thought Solyaris was incredible.

I really should see Rublev, and soon. You watch that Solyaris and we can talk about it!

I'll tell you, films from all the greats made in the 60s-70s are an incomparable experience for me.

Actually a LOT better than I thought it would be after the reviews I'd read. Nicholas Cage is still a zombie, but at least his role was somewhat fitting for him.

I should have mentioned that Winslet and Finnes are, were, and always will be amazing actors, but the story left me a little cold - perhaps I'm just not used to Holocaust themes being restrained - heh, or it was the age gap which made you uneasy. Definitely seen better from both of them, however.

I think it was the fact that she would mother him, then have sex with him. Anyway, yeah good acting...

Yeah, and totally fucking boring. I was excited to watch it having read the reviews but I just didn't see what was so great about it. Princess Mononoke is cool though.

A Serious Man - Good movie. Not the best Coen Brothers movie I've seen, but definitely not their worst. 7.5/10.

Adam - Acting was lame at times, but otherwise a very good movie. Adam has aspergers and gets involved in a relationship. It was actually a good love story. 7/10.

I liked The Reader a lot. Ralph Fiennes is really good at looking sad and the story was interesting and emotional. Been meaning to watch Adam because I have a huge crush on Rose Byrne.
