just saw the Scrubs season 8 finale. what a great show, shame this could very well be the last season.

Incredibly unhappy with the Smallville finale. The whole season they were hyping a showdown between Clark and Doomsday, and we got 5 seconds!!

Lie To Me and The Mentalist I still greatly enjoy and cant wait for their next seasons.

24 is also still going strong but the threats are just not believable anymore.

Can someone please recommend me a great show? My faves are Lost, Heroes and Stargate Atlantis. But I also like Prison Break and 24. Supernatural and The X-Files are also tolerable. And these are pretty much the only shows I've seen. I've thought about getting Dexter, Rome, The Shield, The 4400 and The Wire, but I'm not sure yet...

Dexter I've not seen. Rome rules, The Shield rules, 4400 is pretty good but has a disappointing ending due to being cancelled, and I've only seen one episode of The Wire but it looks pretty good so far. If you liked 24 you should like The Shield, Vic Mackey is harder than Jack Bauer and much more believable. Somehow, the show makes the lives of bent coppers more gripping than people about to nuke America, which shows it's quality.

Ok, thanks. :) Heard some very good things about Rome and The Shield. And I agree about 24. It's becoming a bit too over the top. Nuclear bombs, viruses, nerve gas, more nucs... And sometimes Jack Bauer looks like a nerve-wreck. I suppose he's meant to, but I think he over-acts sometimes.

Season 5 of Boston Legal is turning out to be much better than season 4 so far. And John Adams is getting a bit dull as he gets older, hopefully he'll go out with a bang. Thomas Jefferson is being portrayed much better than I thought he was in real life...

So, I'm wandering across the channels last night and what did I happen upon but that show with that douche that is also a bounty hunter, yeah, Dog or Dwayne or whatever the fuck his name is, and goddamn, is he serious walking around in those clothes and that haircut?
