I'm going to be massively cynical and say that even if some are faked/the Pallies shooting/bombing their own, then the WP pic and the buried kids in the rubble is pretty much a damn reason for the IDF to be ashamed anyways.

The buried alive pictures were the worse. I'm so desensitized to violence on humans that the cat picture probably bothered me the worse.

Really? I always find dead babies disturbing beyond belief.

Jesus, that's horrible... No children should have to suffer for the idiocy of adults. That's what you get when you mix religious fundamentalism with weapons.

I spent my middle school years watching hours upon hours of torture/gore at school. Chechnyans getting their throats cut out and an Arab being sawed in half by AKs, for example.

While I was certainly never shown anything like that in school, I had been exposed to stuff like that in my younger years. That stuff is all over the internet, and places like rotten.com and ogrish.com were rather intriguing to 15 year olds smoking their first joint.

It wasn't sanctioned by the school or anything. I wasn't shown it. Just a guy in my class was really into Nazis/war and that developed into gore and we just watched videos on ogrish all day. The computer teacher was friends with us so he gave up trying to stop us.

I find that quite shocking, really, that you were allowed to watch that by a teacher. Kids today.

In other news, the fucking Royal bastard Bank of Scotland had better not go bust, I have two accounts with them.

UGH, I happen to have the misfortune of living in that Texas village. I had to go 2 miles out of my way since the ENTIRE MIDDLE OF THE FUCKING CITY IS CLOSED OFF!!!!!!!!!! Seeing the entire city huddled into downtown was maddening as well, as I just know all of these morons still think he's great.

I am very sorry to hear that EI. If it's any consolation I was attempting to launch bottle rockets at his plane from North Carolina airspace. Perhaps praying for a flock of birds to get stuck in the engines was too much to ask for today

Last week at uni, some arabs had some poster boards with facts condeming Israel. This week the jewish community on campus had their little info set up on tables. I decided to confront them and call them out on being ridiculous. Basically, we debated two really intelligent male jews, a dumb female jew and a gay male jew. I was basically getting ganged up on for questioning Israel's unquestionable authority.

Summing up their argument: Israel is justified in killing a thousand civilians in two weeks because they've dealt with terrorist attacks for eight years; Israel is retaliating so it is completely legal. Hamas put those civilians in danger so it isn't Israel's fault that they've bombed places where women and children go. Bombing and leveling Gaza is the "rational" thing to do. The Israelis let the palestinians know what is being bombed so it is Hamas' fault that they aren't evacuated.

My argument: Israel are continuing some good old colonialism by essentially exterminating some Palestinians and expanding their territory. If Israel was serious about exterminating Hamas terrorists then they should use surgical troop strikes.

This whole affair= Douchebaggery of the greatest sort

Seriously, both Hamas and Israel need to shut the fuck up and stop being douchebags; I blame Israel more, though, just because their douchebaggery has caused so much more damage. Hamas should fuck off too, though. And that is my novel and well articulated analysis of the Gaza conflict.

There's only one way the Gaza conflict will end, and we all know what it is.
