Picked up Spec Ops: The Line tonight since it was cheap. Amazing atmosphere, scenery, and implementation of moral choices, but the gameplay is ho-hum and unchanging (though well-executed). Looking forward to seeing where the story goes if nothing else.

Grand Theft Auto V is due out September 17th. Rockstar apologizes for the delay, but say that they are taking the extra time to "polish things up".

Delays suck, but in the video game world it's usually a good thing. More time for me to finish Far Cry 3 and Hitman Absolution.

If it's good enough I might make the switch over from xbox, depending what Microsoft come up with. That cloud-based backwards compatibility thing looks interesting, long as a) it's reasonably priced and b) it actually works.

I don't like getting new systems out of the start gate due to the fact that there aren't going to be a lot of games out come launch time.

I like to wait maybe a year after just so the catalog can get bigger. And because there isn't going to be backwards capability if you beat say maybe 1 or 2 games you don't have much options until there are more games available.

Although the new Killzone and Infamous games look sweet.

Picked up Bioshock Infinite today. Can't wait to finish work today to get home and play this bastard. I've avoided all reviews and media outlets. Want to go into this not knowing a damn thing.

It's like Christmas.

Same here - I pre-ordered it on Steam and received the original Bioshock AND that X-Com game from last year as freebies. I'm currently playing through Bioshock again just to get into the mood, then I'm hopping into the new one.

Have only just finally finished the original Bioshock, very much looking forwards to Infinity although might play the second before out of sheer miserliness...

I can enjoy it now, it has your approval. Or should we wait for the full review?

You probably shouldn't spend so much time on the Internet if your enjoyment of things is ruined so easily.

Not got it yet, but did pick up Dishonored the other day which I'm enjoying so far - rather like a cross between Bioshock and Thief. The sort of game you can rush through or take your time with, exploring and discovering its secrets for yourself, and I'm determined to do that.

Also got Final Fantasy 13 since it was cheap. Not tried it yet, expecting to either hate it or get drawn in utterly - never played any of the FFs...

I was one of the few who got hooked on FFXIII. It's a really challenging game and the unique battle system consistently keeps things interesting.

I came across a discount code at a gaming forum i frequent which came from a energy company i think, which gave you 50% off from all games and preorders online at a company called Elkjøp (I guess you could compare it to a Wal-Mart or something) and managed to use the discount code more than once for some reason. So i got Bioshock Infinite for 23 bucks, GTA V same price, Dragons Dogma: Arisen (full game+expansion) for 11 bucks, Rayman Legends (Wii U version) 20 bucks, and Grid 2 LE for 25 bucks. After that the code stopped working. So all in all i saved quite a bit of money and i am quite happy about that. :D
