I recently watched some Dr Who? episodes and actually enjoyed it. Its not very serious but the goofiness actually adds to the fun.

It took me three months but I just finished the whole 9 series of Stargate SG1. I know the tenth series is already showing but I still have to wait for a month to get the episodes and I cant wait. This must be the longest running scifi series and still going strong.

Next project Babylon 5 and then Farscape.

The remake of BSG is totally different from the original. Characters are different and of course the SFX are mindblowing

yeah its very different but sooo much better. The only thing that gets me is the whole cylons were created by man thing. NO THEY WEREN'T, they were created by the.... wait for it....cylons!!! And the war had been going on for a 1000 years to. I think they should have kept that shit in the new one but, who am i to complain!

I just finished the second series of B5. Its fucking great! I have a feeling that the next three series are going to be far better then the first two, the story line has taken a long time to form as its so detailed but now that its established i can't wait to see where it goes!

I cant wait to see how the BSG crowd get out of their current predicament. Fortunately we only have to wait until Oct 6 for season three!!!

It sucked.

Just heard some bad news. Three of my favourite SciFi series are being cancelled after only one season! Yes, Invasion, Threshold and Surface all bite the dust after just one season. The worst news ever is that Stargate SG1 is being canceled after 10 seasons! Apparently a Guinness World Record for a scifi series. Fortunately Stargate Atlantis was picked up for a fourth season.

Just last night watched first episode of new series called Jericho about this small town in USA that has to survive a nuclear holocaust all around them. Looks interesting and may develope into good series. Skeet Ulrich plays main role.

Has anybody seen the series Eureka on the SciFi Channel? Apparently it is good but I have not seen it yet.

Sci-Fi is usually gay due to cheap-ness, nerdiness or sheer gayness. I only like Futurama (which isnt really sci-fi, but whatever)

OK, so The Matrix, Star Wars, The Fifth Element, Alien, Terminator, Dark City, Blade Runner, Close Encounters, Battlestar Galactica (new series), Minority Report, Men In Black, Firefly, X-Files, just to name a few, all have the above characteristics?

Go back to watching soppy love stories and stop slagging scifi.

Firefly is a western set in space/character driven drama, not sci-fi n00b

I used too strong a word, cos obviously star wars, the matrix and alien pwn.

Terminator i wouldnt say is sci-fi.

What i really meant was stuff on TV specifically, like stargate, battlestar galactica, star trek.

Isn't LOST becoming more and more sci-fi oriented?

It's my favourite TV show.

Check out the anti aircrast gun in the first 5 mins of the first episode, clearly some one wasn't paying attention  ?? Or the Huge kickass looking rifes they got. I would say they were quite advanced.

Well good sci fi is always believable. But Star Wars clearly pwns Firefly, and they're both science fiction.....with minimal science.
