It's on Wikipedia, but you don't have to worry until season 4, I think.

Okey, thanks. Shall look into it.

X-Files gets way better after season 1, Although I liked season one very much.
As for the movies, the first one, Fight the future, bridges seasons 5 and 6.
The newest one is pretty much stand alone but is better watched after finishing all nine seasons.

hopes this helps

Has anybody ever heard of the show Police Squad?

I've watched 2 episodes online so far, and holy shit is it funny as hell.

Yeah that's where The Naked Gun movies spawned from.

Don't talk down to me foo, I knew that. I's just askin if anybody else knew of it. And spreading the good word of the show in the process.

"A cigarette?" "Yes I know."
that joke you have to see to get...

I remember when that series debut. It sucked though it lasted just 6 episodes but hey we got the funny TNG movies though :D

I am not that old. It is a little before my time, but I still love it.

The reason the show was cancelled was one of the stupidest reasons ever. Some guy at ABC said that it's a show an average TV watcher wouldn't get. You actually have to watch and pay attention to get the jokes. So um, what the hell are you doing when watching tv? Not paying attention?

I love the one episode where the girl (i think) gets kidnapped and the kidnappers throw the mime attached to a rock through the window. Then they all play sharades with the mime trying to figure out where they have to meet to give the kidnappers the money.

"Your sleeping. At a hotel? No, a motel?!" "Your aunts house!"

I'm telling you because of the movies doing so well they need to bring that show back on TV seriously.

Leslie Nielson is too old.

And the Zucker brothers as well as Abrahams haven't done anything together in quite a few years. So I don't think the show will be back, ever. But they could play the 6 episodes on a station that specializes on older tv shows. Like here we have a station called TV Land. Police Squad would be perfect for that station.

I'm over halfway through X-Files season 1. It's entertaining but every episode is like hit or miss. Can anyone tell me if the show gets better in the next season or if it's any different from the first?

Three episodes into the 2nd season myself, the first one's awesome then it's pretty much the same as season 1, some great moments, some less great moments, although I never really found any of s1 to be 'miss'.

If that episode where Mulder has to hunt down the cavewoman living in New Jersey isn't a miss, I don't know what is.

Come on, that was creepy as fuck. I totally jumped when it jumped out at him.

It just felt really silly and cheesy to me, especially when we find out that her son is played by Dewey from Malcolm in the Middle. And I just find that so far (10 episodes in), there have been a few amazing ones, a few good ones, and a few bad ones. Oh wells.

If you haven't seen it, they also aired the second episode last night. I was very impressed overall, especially with the island storyline.

I bet you get all uncomfortable when your mum walks in and sees Kate in a bikini.

Thank you Fingon.

I agree, but I still do think it is quite awesome, has developed its characters very well, and is doing things and exploring methods of storytelling that have never been done on network tv before.

Does anybody watch Burn Notice? I love it for reasons besides the obligatory love it receives for Bruce Campbell starring in it.

It's awesome. I haven't finished season 3 yet, but it's one of the most well written and well acted dramas I've ever seen, and season 1 at least works very well with a rewatch. There's a lot (a cocksucking fucking lot) of swearing and quite brutal violence, but it can also be quite funny, and I heart Al Swearengen.
