Insects & crustaceans are more different biologically speaking than any vertebrate.

So if you say is the same eating a crab (or prawn) than a cockroach, then is the same eating a sheep than a frog, a snake or a dog (and sheeps & dogs are very near one to another).

It's a cultural & taste thing, not a biological one.

I have to vote 'YES' to the prawns/shrimp debate. As for crabs, I am originally from the Blue Crab State - Maryland. You haven't lived until you sit at a picnic table covered in steamed blue crabs that have been seasoned with Old Bay Seasoning. Crack those boys open and enjoy a good beer with them. Awesome.

The negative is cutting the shit out of your fingers getting through the damned shell and then getting the spice in the cut. It's rather painful but worth it. :D

I just made a stir-fry last night and I applied much shrimp... not prawns. Though I do love all seafood. Maybe I should try prawns instead of shrimp next time I make one.

But anyway... fuck yeah I voted for prawns! :dio:
