I've commented on the albums that I've enjoyed, if that tells you anything.

That and I can't find the Culted CD that was reviewed.

Or wait, I lied. I liked Outcast and Gnostic. Didn't comment, and I already had a thread about Gorod so I didn't feel the need to add anything there.

I'm guessing the new DT will be reviewed on Monday, right? Hope it gets high ratings here.

I've checked out Suffocation, Gorod, Drudkh and Destroyer 666. And the Current 93, I already had listened to it.

Yeah the Culted isn't out for a few weeks still. I heard it from Relapse's streaming site cos I emailed their UK rep. The myspace is the best thing available at the moment, but about half the album seems to be there.

The reviews of bigger bands don't even get comment themselves, however. Seven comments for Obituary! Three for Isis! What big bands are you speaking of, that get so much attention when they are reviewed here?

I can't speak for that, as I don't like death metal; I don't know how many people here are really into it either. Keep in mind that it sometimes takes people a bit of time to check out new albums due to business of life; unless a band is one of my absolute favourites, I rarely check them out on release week.

And I mean, there does seem to be some discussion of music going on on this site- checking the first few pages of the review section, there are a number of reviews that have gotten ten posts or more- not the majority, it's true. There is also more discussion in the genre boards. So while there isn't as much music discussion as there used to be and there should probably be more, you're kind of ignoring what there is.

I always read reviews of genres that I'm interested in and the albums that get scores in the 80's and 90's. I just don't comment on them, usually, because I don't listen to nearly enough new music. Ah well.

I wish I had the time or funds to check out 12 new bands a week. I don't even have the hard drive space, as I use a laptop. I'm lucky if I get to purchase 1 new album every month. Not everyone is a single bachelor with absolutely no life outside of listening to music. I'm glad you're committed, that's awesome, but you'll see once you get older and involved with a signifcant other, that your personal time gets chipped away.

What the fuck is this shit?

We're glad you have a really important life and clearly you're better than the losers like us. I mean, I know it's just so impossible to get any more storage space for a laptop ( Or is it? I spent 40 dollars on an external harddrive to store all my music, as I only have a laptop. ) order a CD online, or get out to a store.

It's really taxing and takes up so much time. Totally agree. I must have spent all of 5 minutes setting up my DL's for the 3 reviews this week that interested me.

You're all fucking losers for listening to as much as much music as you do, me included, and Eternal obviously has a big important life.

I'll be checking out at least three albums this week, Master Zadok. Maybe more if my poor slave ears can handle the musical beauty which you easily bask in daily.

Yes, this is going nowhere. Completely pointless.
