My arm is already stitched up in that picture. I punched a window, not a mirror. I did it with my forearm and not my fist. I think the result is comparable to punching a mirror though. It left an ugly scar.

No, stone cold sober. I was soooo angry though. I got pissed off, quietly marched down the stairs and hit the window sideways. After that I learnt not to do that shit though. I used to smash things casually while walking away. Plates, walls, anything that would shatter or break and was nearby. The nasty scar on my arm reminds me not to.

I punched a 1/4 inch thick mirror that was leaning against a wall and broke it in the middle it came down on a small vein. It was weird, very little, but very thick blood. The skin was like a thick flap that hung over the wound. My finder was just like that too, not really any blood but the weight of the glass pinched the skin in two pieces.

At least I actually broke the glass and put a good dent in the drywall. Thats pretty good for a guy that's 5'5'' and 130 at the time.

About 7 years ago when I was still a christian I got pushed inside a church and fell with my head through a window. To protect my face I covered it with my hands, as a result i got a seriously bad cut. 20 stiches (basically it was like i cut my wrist with a knife), 3 hours of operation in total anaesthesia... At least 1 year to recover partially the movements and sensibility. From that day i stopped being a christian and every time i punch through windows i never hurt myself.

I don't see the point in wanting to do it. Anger makes me feel indestructible, and the noise of things shattering sounds so.fucking.good. I think it can be compared to a relief an addict feels when he or she gets a long-overdue hit. I no longer do it thankfully, the last time I did it I was 17.

Yeah, I don't really have any good reason to want to. And (oh man) I'm not totally serious in my devotion to wanting to punch a mirror. It just seems like it would be a thrill of some kind, and that I would definitely feel alive, which, I know, is an awful excuse.

1) Own a '68 Charger, Hemi of course.
2) Get two full sleeves and a back panel.
3) Heroin (only one I haven't tried)
4) Learn to pilot a plane
5) Punch Dr. Phil in his chump mouth, after bitch-slapping Oprah. Or before; either way.
6) Visit Ireland, permanantly
7) Visit Las Vegas while frying on acid, ala my man Thompson.
8) Win the lottery (work is for saps)
9) I too would like to see full scale nuclear exchange after secretly discovering the antidote to radiation poisoning.
