It's the ol' "wanting what we can't have" thing. I'd never go there, because I've witnessed many a life go down the toilet over such things (including my parents). One of my friends became a DJ her first semester and I sat in on a couple of her shows, and it seemed like fun. So when the next round of DJ training came up, I signed up. And then it proceeded to eat my life and soul - I was on the board of directors in a kind of incidental capacity last year, and I was the Loud (metal, punk, hard rock and ska) Music Director this year. It's been a blast - if you can, you should do it.

i feel pretty good. i went to my cousin's for dinner because she's going back to Enland tomorrow, and when i got there her younger brother asked me if i wanted to join him for footy that evening. so i had dinner in 15 minutes, left to watch/play some footy and got 5 or 6 free beers to boot.
