Pissed off. As it's local election time here in sunny Wales, I recieved a propaganda from those merry racist shits, the BNP (British National Party, or as I like to call them the British Nazi Party). What was bizarre is how they were directing hate towards the English as well, which is odd as they are an English based party . I'm suprised they decided to stand here, as we Welsh are probably Untermensch in their book.

Indian Weddings - an Essay
i went to this wedding and it sucked horribly. the shallowness of the whole thing made me wanna throw up.

the cerimony is waaaaaaaaaayyy too long, full of rituals most people don't even understand, so no one but the bride and groom are actually paying atention; then apparently they have to invite EVERYONE they know, and it's rude to turn down the invitation or to not show up even though
a) no one would notice
b) to be truthful, in most cases i don't know the bride or groom and they don't know me

but instead of being honest about it and saying "hey, we're family but we barely ever talk, so it's like we, you know, aren't related at all", the couple has to cater for one extra guest and the guest has to waste 4 hours of his life in some stupid wedding.
instead of inviting 200 people and serving them a sub-par meal (the food at my university's dining hall is better than what is served at most weddings), why not invite just those who actually give a fuck and have a good time.
but these fucking indians feel offended if they're not invited to weddings they don't even want to go to, and the families involved feel offended if the people they don't even care about don't show up! WHY ALL THIS FALSENESS?! I ASK YOU!!

then there's the whole punctuality issue. sure, i'm a bit obsessive about being punctual, but am i the only one that's annoyed when the entire groom's side is 2 HOURS LATE?! and this is at every fucking wedding, my uncle calls it "indian standard time", basically something scheduled for 12pm IST will only actually start at 2pm GMT. even my stepmum says she can't remember the last time an indian wedding started on time.

and in the end, people take pictures with the married couple. everyone who's invited takes a fucking picture with them! why? the people won't receive the picture, hell the couple won't even keep it, let alone print and send it!
and on top of all that, the whole "picture-taking process" is FILMED! they film people taking pictures!!

so, you know, it's redundant, shallow and unnecessary. if i ever get married (lol), i'll only invite people i know, the food won't suck, and everything will be on time (zomg!!). it will be legendary.

Thanks people... We weren't that close, but when a 14 year old girl dies in two days when she just got a boyfriend, and her twin brother has to go through is birthday this wednesday alone, and many of you close friends were really close to her... You feel like shit.

Feeling good. I finally got a prac placement, but it's at a distance education thing, which means I teach country kids/prisoners/mormons etc over the phone instead of in a classroom. Better than nothing I suppose.

Out of the blue I got an email from Chloe. Don't know if I've mentioned her before, but she's this young girl I used to go to uni with a few years ago whom I came very very close to having an affair with. But common sense got the better of me and luckily she dropped out (not because of that, but she just cbf studying). She wants to catch up, and my wife is in Fiji at the moment with her dad on a business trip. But no. I might go have coffee with her in a public place, but that's about it. Whenever I see her she has this hypno-sexo affect on me. Very dangerous.
