Fuck off man, there is a major difference minus all of your sobbing tear-eyed bantering, for one as a consequence of course calling someone a "Redneck" is less likely to get you killed than calling a "muslim" a towelhead". You're politically correct bullshit wont win you any points with these savages, they want you dead and its harder to worsen a powder keg, when they already loathe everyone that doesn't smell like camel shit and pray to a city 80x a day.

Don't think someone in Afghanistan calling American soldiers rednecks gets some shit done to him?

Even if not, the only difference is in degree, not in attitude.

Sorry I'm trying to do something to resolves, or at lessen the vitriol being tossed around in this conflict.

Ultimately, this example will not work as merely being called a redneck will not result in the death of another human being. There are countless examples an individual can provide, that show that if Muslims/Islamists are even slightly criticized they inevitably resort to boisterous protesting, destroying shops, threatening peoples lives, and of course killing people. Unless there are a few examples in the American South where calling a person a redneck resulted in the death of an individual of a minorities ancestry much less being of the muslim faith, I don't see that example as being particularly strong. It is my belief, that these bastards use the strengths of our system here to propagate their own xenophobic beliefs, when you and other politically correct liberals equate those that question their intentions of doing the exact same thing.

If this is not an oxymoron..I'm not sure what is

Well, it's not an oxymoron, since an oxymoron is two contradictory words being put together. Or at the very least, two contradictory ideas being put together in a way that makes sense.

So yeah.

I don't think that the fact that the reactions differ in degree makes the name-calling on one side exponentially worse than the other. Both are insensitive, both escalate the conflict, both are not ever going to result in anything good. It's really pretty simple, in my opinion. You can argue that what they do is worse, you can argue that what you do isn't so bad, but it's damn near impossible to argue that what you do is good.

This is complete bullshit, politically correct blacks and the spineless liberals of MSNBC are propagating this story of kids just having fun. Apparently you can't dress in a way caricaturing your own race in a jesting manner, without offending politically correct blacks that want to make some money from a lawsuit. This makes the people filing the lawsuit worse than those who are the subject of it. Fuck them

Wigger Day should be banned anyway, just for how unbelievably stupid the "subculture" is.

So now S&P lowered our credit rating from AAA to AA+ what a shock.

What pisses me off is S&P were the ones that were passing out AAA ratings to toxic CDO's like candy and guess what happened next after that.

Oh, boo fucking hoo, you've finally been downgraded, just like every other country with economic troubles. Long overdue, if you ask me.

Is there something funny?

This economy is hurting a lot of people, a lot of families just trying to keep their heads above water. This will make things that much worse.
Of course being the piece of shit you are, you find it all oh so amusing.

Do you even have a job? Seems to me all you do all day is sit around smoke weed, listen to shitty music and post bullshiton this board.

Eat shit and die, you braindead chimpanzee.

None of your business.
FYI, I've had the same job (well, in the same company) these last 18 years and paid my taxes and so on.

And yes, it's funny you didn't understand earlier than by living by the sword chances were high you'd die by the sword too. The sword is the constant need for the USA to have fresh money while producing less and less wealth (because the chinese are so cheap), how did you think it could end?
And, trust me, I'm very sorry for the too many victims of a suicidal system but, hey!, just like when you bombed Irak or Afghanistan, there's there's ultimately be collateral damage.

+1. This is very troublesome news, for everyone.
Sorry but I can't help thinking (too) many congressmen played with fire and got burned. But we discussed this already...

All the American administrations since that of Carter's played with fire. True Reagan and the Bush have been the worst but the others are "just less bad".
Anyway, now the poorest of Americans are paying the bill because the rich and powerful wanted more at any cost.

Sorry I don't have time to argue with someone that talks at the speed of stupid.

When you and Stefan actually find those brains you are looking for during your journey on the yellow brick road maybe we'll talk.

You are very very ignorant of our political system, and how it works.
Obama has all of them trumped.

But, that would go against the grain of your black man fetish, wouldn't it?

The Iraq / Asscrackistan misadventures are a small part of what got us here, but keep parroting the leftist talking points like a good drone.

It was predictable, The S&P had clearly stated that they would need to see about $4 trillion in cuts or savings. Raising taxes (which is not "revenue", regardless of what the pseudo-socialists would like to believe; class warfare is a European phenomenom, and it isn't supposed to be part of America's philosophy, although our politicians try to use it to their advantage) will not solve this, it will only hurt us more.

Hard cold truth is, we spend waaay too much. On top of our politicians treating SS like a Ponzi scheme, the so-called entitlements running in the red, ridiculous military expenditures and government bureaucracy overlap / duplication, borrowing, taxing and spending like gangbusters... no surprise it has come to this.

An interesting fact: the only sector to have shwn both an increase in both wages and multitude is the public (government kjobs) sector; meanwhile, the private sector has steadily and alarmingly decreased in both areas.
Coincidence?

"If the US Government was a family, they would be making $58,000 a year, they spend $75,000 a year, & are $327,000 in credit card debt. They are currently proposing BIG spending cuts to reduce their spending to $72,000 a year. These are the actual proportions of the federal budget & debt, reduced to a level we can understand." - Dave Ramsey

So, in a situation like this, what would make more sense?

a) Keep spending and borrowing
b) Bite the bullet and cut your spending and borrowing and live within your means
c) Ask your employer (the taxpayers) for a 50% wage increase in a fucked economy (keep in mind that you are inept, irresponsible and inefficient, barely (if at all) able to fulfill your duties on time and your boss knows it)

This example doesn't take into account that a country can't really go bankrupt as a household or a company can, but in this situation my favorite solution would be :

d) First, cut your spending down to $65,000 a year and temporarily raise taxes (i.e. get a second job) to match the spendings, and then later, see if you can break even at $58,000.

But as you said, Americans are not fond of taxes, so... b) obviously. A second-best choice, I'd say.
