In my opinion it was like being stoned from weed, but more tired and lazy and less amused. In other words, it was a bullshit waste of money. I'm sure if you shoot it up it's much better, but i'm not about to try that.

Yeah, dude. Definitely stay away from heroine in any form available. Opium, on the other hand, is something that I would definitely do again if I had an opportunity; especially in China (in an opium den!!). Opium is very common in Iran, too. Actually in Asia for the most part... Have you see From Hell, the movie? They show an opium house in England and Johhny Depp is an addict in that movie.

I have heard about the cigarette thing too. A bit of tobacco and beer are used here in Mexico after a dose of heroin. Never tried this, I don't like needles.

Yeah, I have. I have read the Alan Moore comic it's based on too...it's even better!

Have you seen Once Upon A Time in America? It's a 4 hour gangster film directed by Sergio Leone with Robert Deniro. I wouldn't want to say too much because it would be a spoiler, but it also features an opium den prominently....

Why is is opium and heroin different? I have experience with marihuana and hashish, and it's the same thing, only stronger. As far as a I know, heroin is derived from opium just as hashish is derived from cannabis.

Have heard a lot good things about it but have not seen it, yet unfortunately. Will change that soon.

ha that story is pretty damn funny, my favourite drugs-related story seems to happen more often then you'd think (can't be fucked actually finding a story though) dude gets baked, dude tries to order pizza and instead calls cops on himself, sometime later answers door expecting pizza, plans to use dope as payment, cop on the other side busts the dude for possession

I have never done drugs or smoked tobacco and never will, just isn't my idea of a good time, I'll drink like an Irishman on St. Patricks Day though lol
