So were Einstein and Newton. They just ended up achieving more in their fields than three people could in a lifetime. My IQ is only about 140 and Einstein's was supposedly 160, so I'm hardly as intelligent as those two. I'm working with music and they are worked on Physics. No one gives a shit about music though so whatever I do will be regarded as irrelevant to mankind.

IQ tests are totally relevant on how people are intelligent in different ways. They certainly do not do justice to the persons creativity, whatsoever. Scores on an IQ test are comparative by nature; they do not test a subject's 'true intelligence', merely their performance on the given tasks in comparison to those of the same age group. Test scores can also be affected by simple things such as a lack of sleep, or having not eaten enough that morning. IQ tests are merely a temporary sort, situational tests based on a person or people that design the test and have no authority at all other than being the normal psychologist. I once measured my IQ and it was 155 which was 8 years ago but I strongly believe that does not say much about my intelligence. One might be excellent as a mechanic but know nothing of geometry. Or a tremendous poet but be very poor at math. Apparently Einstein didn't know how to drive!

Wrong. Do you know the mafia works? You end up kicking all your money upstairs, even as a capo or on the books member. Unless you're parents were Sicilian, that isn't gonna happen. Read Sammy The Bull's book. He'll tell you how fucking broke he was and how he was always in real danger of going away forever or getting whacked out.

Sicilian? Wtf? I don't live in the US. Sammy the Bull was stupid, you need wits to really make it in this business.

I'm mexican. The mexican mafia is bigger and stronger. Smalls guerrillas actually, with sophisticated military equipment. More sanguinary and with little honor (they only care for the people in the towns they were born or rule). Even the lowest sicarios have great cars and luxurious houses. I wouldn't care if 70% of what I earn got to someone above me, 30% is still A LOT in this business. That's why I said that I would be rich now or dead. It's gambling with the Devil. Anyway, I'm happy with my life now and I like the fact that I always sleep without worry.

But I do like the idea of killing my ex wife :P , well not exactly wife, never signed any paper, but we lived together for 5 years, and have a son with her.

Exactly, they are a generalized, culturally biased account of mathematically based logic.

The most important aspect is the strength of the cognitive learning styles as it applies to whatever subject one wants to become proficient. Mine changes based on what is going on though.

I have some charts here, one was a test conducted to measure these things (Ruffles through papers)

17/24 - Body/Kinesthetic
20/24 - Verbal-Linguistic
22/24 - Visual/Spatial
22/24 - Logical/Mathematical
24/24 - Musical
22/24 - Intrapersonal
14/24 - Interpersonal
6/24 - Naturalistic

Like I said, these change though. I answered the questions and they were scored based on "best case scenario" as a single function. Note the poor score of interpersonal communication and that is only as high as it is because I do like to help other people as a source of enlightened self interest.

However, my ability to do anything hinges upon how much sensory information is present. Using my voice + listening to music = huge problem unless addressed due to my tactile senses inability to function correctly while the "much more critical" auditory process is going on. Even that gets distorted that way. There are songs that took dozens of listens before I noticed notes were not what I thought. My brain would assume the incorrect note I sang was present on the recording and impose itself over the song. It's pretty surprising when a note will shift up or down and you are convinced it wasn't like that a week ago.

Fine. The close to worldwide presence of La Cosa Nostra and using the word "mafia" is confusing syntax.

A chaotic environment that requires no stealth or secrecy where illegal dealings is hardly a efficient or impressive criminal underworld.

La Cosa Nostra (This thing of ours) is totally different. For the record Sammy was Underboss (2nd in command) of a family that made hundreds of millions. The New York mafia was always a lot smarter and kept everyone in line by keeping them poor. If the mexican mob has any staying power and their environment ever aquires a level of stability they'll end up doing the same. Secrecy, order and stability become critical when you can't conduct crime out in public. La Cosa Nostra guys got the point where an enforcer who helped them do one job years ago and getting pinched for theft would result in their murder in jail within days.

I think we agree, you play with fire you get burned.

The questions were poorly worded TBH.

6/24 is the minimum. Just for shits and giggles I'll tell you how I answered them:

1 - I like doing projects with others.
1 - People come to me to settle conflicts
3 - I like to spend time with friends
(I would rate this a 2 now. I like playing music with the other people I have been fortunate to be friends with that want to discuss common obsessive interests 90% of the time.)
3 - I am good at understanding people
(I didn't understand the question. I give it a 2 also. I can understand their art and their psychology, but their state of mind, no, not really.)
2 - I am good at making people feel comfortable
(I don't know if it the lack of caring anymore or what, but If somebody seems like someone I need to have around I can weasel my way in there)
4 - I enjoy helping others. I really do. I'm complete pushover eager to do a favor.

The numbers are not what they appear. It's a 6-24 scale with even a 24 meaning "above average" and 6 meaning "below average." The questions are terrible and rely on your opinion of yourself in ways that can be rationalized into a great score based on how you frame the question.

I'll do you a favor and leave it at that.

I'm not sure everyone got that Einstein and Newton exhibited many symptoms of ADHD/Asperger's/Autism and were endlessly driven to single-mindedness as a result and this was the reason it was brought up to begin with.

I only have severe ADHD with poor sensory integration. Amps fix it and amps usually lead to hyper focus and extreme arrogance once people like myself discover they are instantly 500% better at everything than usual both physically and mentally, so there you go. You'd feel confident if you were given what is a lot like Captain America's super-serum in effect.

This is really amazing...
Now comparisons to Newton and Einstein are being trotted out.

Nah, you're just some jackoff behind a computer screen with an overinflated sense of worth and too much free time.

Don't ever change, man.

haha i like the "i think i'm awesome because i'm awesome" justification for arrogance

I agree that Einstein and Newton, and any other great in any field, were probably insane and obsessed but that doesn't mean every insane and obsessed person will end up great. I'm down with single mindedness though.

I wrote that it makes me 500% better, not better than you. It makes me have normal senses. When your senses are crippled 99% of your life and that suddenly stops, you feel like Superman. You guys take that for granted. Because it is nearly impossible to do anything that requires touch and hearing at the same time I have to compensate. You take away that hindrance, you have a better perception than average.

I think you guys read into that what you wanted.

"Somewhere in my dreams I can see
Lying the colours of my world
Where my spirit sometimes falls
And I wonder if there's a way to paint these walls
With the colours of my world living deep inside my soul?"

The first few times I got to experience life as you get to know it that is what I was listening to. Hammer hits head of nail.
