Honestly, I don't see why so many people think it's okay to eat a disgusting, beady-eyed, many-legged sea insect....like a prawn....

But it's not okay to eat a disgusting, beady-eyed, many-legged land insect....like say, a cockroach.

Anyways, prawns and cockroaches are very different (prawns belong the same family as crab; cockroaches are a common pest - it's like comparing fish to woodlice) and just because they eat them in Asia (where they also take ground-up rhino horn because they think it makes their cocks bigger) doesn't mean a thing.

Had some prawns in garlic sauce yesterday at my girlfriends house. Great meal, although I got kinda annoyed when my girlfriend refused to be in the same room with me because of the garlic smell :mad:

So yeah, yay for prawns and other seafood!

Oh, and in response to your question, my extended family lives on Kibbutz mefalsim, in Israel, obviously. I have been in the slaughterhouse.

Anyway, that's ultimately irrelevant, as this is CLEARLY a subjective issue and I was just voicing my opinion. To me a prawn is as gross as a cockroach.

I'm not asking anyone to agree.

He has been in a racist trend lately. And prawns and all seafood are awesome, one of my favorite foods.
