Blasting through Supernatural. Just started Season 5. It's not great but it's pretty damn solid. It's much more stable than comparable shows through this many seasons.

Supernatural should've ended after Season 5. Season 6 is completely and utter horrible crap.

:( Really? From what I understand, the show was only meant for five seasons which would explain the drop off in quality. I think the original writer quit or something, he did his five and he was out.

Yeah well, it drops like a stone after a pretty intense fifth season, and it gets downright boring if you ask me. It's not as gruesome as I make it out to be, I'm just lowering your expectations so you won't be really let down.

Fifth season is probably the best one.

I'd say first or third gets that honor.

First was really good. I think that gets my vote. The rest are quality but kinda spotty where the first was consistent throughout.

Season 1 is most consistent, no doubt. But I think Season 3 had some of the best episodes of the series, and the average quality was still pretty high. At least they were actually killing demons instead of possessed teddy bears, like in Season 4.

Watched one episode of that a while back, and yawned a lot. Seemed like a humourless Buffy plus Tru Calling minus Eliza Dushku, not the best combination.

The humor increases, the ass kicking is more kickass and the lack of cheese makes it distinct from Buffy. It is grotesque in a way that Buffy never was and that makes it awesome.

I think it's pretty cool.. Especially when PlayStation 3 has some downloadable 3D games. Which is awesome.
