I work out and stretch and then I usually still think about her but it doesn't make me feel unhappy. I can almost do the splits now!

Ran into a pair on obvious OKCupid date, girl was cute and we talked for 20~ minutes while guy stood there awkwardly. I think I convinced her to come dancing on Saturday.

Coworkers also noticed I seemed emotionally haggard and offered their support and suggestions which was rather lovely.

Death Grips last night, Baroness tonight. Tomorrow headed back to Virginia to spend time with my lady friend. She has been gone for a week and a half and I already miss her. Going to Virginia for a week and then she goes to London for two weeks. Not in a relationship, which basically implies that the lack of label makes us just have amazing times minus the burden or complications.

I had a lady friend once - turns out it was just some black guy in a wig whom I confused with country singer Reba McEntire.

7 kudos up for grabs if you guess the reference.

So I met a girl two weeks ago and dancing with her made me incredibly excited so then the next week i mustered the courage to ask her out. First date at the beach was lukewarm but we ended up staying up to watch the runrise together, so not entirely lukewarm? Like intense attraction was replaced with relaxed friendship. Then we had second date watching Man of Steel and it was slightly warmer but not hot; movies are bad dates. Anyways I can't tell if there isn't a spark or if we're getting comfortable around each other but she's messaging me on facebook right now so I guess that's a good sign.

Also my ex's relationship with new guy fell apart. being right about everything feels kinda good man

Hung out with "the ex" from three years ago in her apartment today. Met the guy that she has been dating since we broke up. Kinda fun. It's nice having my emotions together in a way that I can do something like that without being upset at all.

That possibility was built on the fact that the girl I've been seeing for the last month now, her and I are locked into a relationship. It's healthy and productive and engaging and ultimately time-consuming. Hence, not so much posting on here. I'll try not to be a stranger, but between her and schoolwork and work I may be gone at times. We'll see.

In a real mood to listen to metal and have a few beers with like minded metal loving buddies.

Only problems are:

a.) I'm at work

and

b.) Most metal guys I knew were morons who went out of their way to bag out your favourite bands so I haven't bother hanging out with them in years.

They were so bad I started to hate metal. Then I stopped hanging out with them and the music sounded good again.

I just returned home from 10 days in Yosemite National Park. It was a great holiday but adjusting back to east coast time is proving to be difficult.

Jesus Christ.

Went out in the yard and saw hundreds of dead Cuban military types amidst burning landing craft.

Turn out they were trying some sort of Bay of Pigs invasion on my backyard in Tasmania. Fucking CIA.

Luckily the dog was there. She got a poochie treat for her brave efforts.

Really feel like I dodged a bullet.

I'm in the same mood most of the time. I have two problems

1. I'm out of beer
2. I've been preparing for exams

sup guys

been kind of busy

also they blocked MR at work which is where i did most of my MRing

work is better now. day to day stuff is pretty boring but financial planning is fairly fun. convinced the CEO into giving the subsidiary where i work a big fat loan, so either he doesn't care or he's all like impressed at my bullshitting, i mean, financial planning skills.

one of my best friends from Portugal who spent the last 5 months in Sao Paulo is going back next week, which kind of sucks.

going to Paris (company's head office) on the 24th and hopefully i'll be able to stop by Portugal myself on the way back to Brazil. it'll have been over 8 months away from home, that's the longest i've ever been.

Sometimes I worry that accomplishing stuff like this will always feel like tricking people with bullshitting,

Life's been very good for me lately. Spending lots of time doing fun things with a pretty girl. Not spending enough time finding a place in Montreal, but I kind of want to push my moving date back and spend more time in Victoria anyways. It's looking more like mid-late August these days. I'm in "no i dont want to leave!" stage, which probably won't end until a week or so before leaving when I'll get super excited about making a big life change. And I've been spending so much time with the girl and friends in the last two months that even if I'm super lonely in Montreal, I'm kind of excited by the prospect of being on my own and reading lots of books and listening to lots of opera for a couple weeks/months.

i was joking lol. i made honest assumptions and my numbers were approved by everyone. the guy asked a ton of questions, but my reasoning was sound.

you only get to lie to people once, and it's no way to impress anyone.

i've been busy with work and travel, recent reviews weren't of stuff i like/follow, and for some reason i listen to considerably less metal in summer vs winter.

melodic metal will do, really heavy death metal i just cannot enjoy when it's hot.

Metal is dead. We should convert this into a dubstep forum or some such shit.
