Have to write 2800 words before midnight. Feel no motivation to start.

Started "working" 5 hours ago, still haven't written anything.

Story of my life.

It's not even a difficult assignment, I just cannot find anything interesting to write about and I definitely need to be inspired to churn out 2800 words in a few hours.

Get some fine weed and start writing

question: what happened with that "rate the song above you" thread? started so strong and now it's totally dead

also it gets really expensive having to replace albums carelessly disposed of by people who assume that just because items are left seperate from like items they are no longer wanted

perhaps, does seem that eveyone here has very distinct tastes, maybe the reason it works so well on my other forum is because everyone likes similar stuff, for example the Obituary song I posted whch Frenchman gave a low score to a while back would get a higher score

it could also be decreased activity around here that killed it though, I've noticed traffic is slowing down around here

Post more. Honestly, in the last week or so, it seems as if everybody is coming out of the woodwork to post, but nothing substantial.

Maybe it's cause not much interesting is happening in general metaldom?

Not entirely sure how relevant that is.

Most of the good conversations around here happen in Helheim have nothing to do with metal.

Although I suppose it might explain the lack of new members, but then again, this place has always had a dearth of new members, so who knows?

But if people are less interested in music at the time due to lack of exciting new goodies, they might be less inclined to come here and post, even if they are a regular.

I don't really listen to metal anymore so I'm just here to talk about off topic stuff.

Note to self: don't eat while listening to Cattle Decap. Some of those sounds Ryan makes aren't very pleasant. I'm eating chicken curry as he is vomiting in the mic. Blegh!

A good chicken curry has vomit chunks mixed into it, so I don't understand the problem.

Yet! I hope one day noodz and I can have a hair thread. I recently shaved myself a mullet.

I'm thinking I'll probably have the same haircut forever. I saw a guy at the show who had hair down to his chest and shaved at the sides and it looked really great, but I think my hair is too thick so if I do that it just looks grungy rather than artsy and elegant. Also gotta grow it long for it to work.
