I know Zad was kidding, but with all the drinking I've been doing lately I'm not totally opposed to a drunk thread. Would be a funny ass thread.

If it meant this thread could go back to talking about relationships LIKE NORMAL, then I'd be fine with it...

Hahaha. I've refrained from talking about the iota of a relationship that I may or may not have in eleven days because I don't want to jinx it. On that note, I'm avoiding the writing that I need to do in order to leave Virginia ASAP come the twelfth.

Haha, good luck with it. Writing as in reviewing or uni? Either way, do what you have to do, as ever.

A little of both. I have been writing reviews around mid-afternoon when I kinda hit a lull in my work ethic. For uni, I have final papers with a little bit of end of the semester readings to do. Working on one paper about water privatization, one on thrash metal somehow I have no idea what about, and one paper that I have no idea what I'm going to write on let alone what I'm giong to argue.

Lady friend keeps communication rather sparse throughout the week. A few things on facebook throughout the week. One 'come back soon' text. One question about zombies text. Now, that she is drunk at Ohio University, all of the texts are being sent to me. Women: can't live with 'em...

Bought two spools of wool for a scarf, downloaded videos of Gerswhin's Porgy and Bess, Janacek's Jenufa, Prokofiev's War and Peace, and Wagner's Lohengrin

my body is ready

my right knee is wrecked, don't know what I did to it but whatever it was now can't bend that leg without causing pain and even keeping it straight is uncomfortable

cricket training today was enjoyable enough without being very productive and finally, finally gotten rid of that half assed attempt at a beard

cd player is still fucked and now my xbox has joined it so today has been largely shithouse with a brief period of good times

Didn't realize you had decided on Paris. I thought it was Brazil.

same thing - it's a french company, i'll be in paris for 4 or 5 months for training and visa shit, and then a year in brazil.

can't complain. to be honest i'd even stay there longer if they asked, i'd be closer to portugal and i could work on my french a bit more.

Fucking jealous of that. Lady and I are planning dates to the art museums. Swoon.
