True Blood season finale was pretty meh

I felt this whole season was just too much. they put too much in it and are leaving too many questions open going into next season.

I agree that the finale was a little meh, but it was overall a pretty great season that ended to soon in my opinion. A couple of more episodes would have been nice.

yeah like 2 or 3 more just to wrap some shit up

also ending the week before Dexter starts would be nice, then there is no wait inbetween shows.

Finished season 1 of both Rome and Spartacus: Blood and Sand.

Started season 2 of Rome.

No nude Atia in season 2

What did you think of Caesar's fall? I thought it was very well handled. They followed Plutarch's account almost exactly, and avoided the Shakespeare's theatrics of 'Et Tu Bruti".

to tell you the truth, i'm no history buff so I really don't know how it all went down. but I think it was done well, and at the same time I was pissed it happened.

season 2 has been awesome so far, but the lack of nude Atia is a downer.

I just liked that they showed Caesar and Brutus staring at each other as he died. No need for some bullshit words to spoil the meaning--great job...and yes, I was pissed to.

Yeah, the beginning of season 2 is killer. Like when Antony is running for his life--crazy shit!

Even them getting Caesar to try and cover up his face before dying was a great touch. I loved Rome (Spartacus, fuck that shit :lame: ) and it gives me great hope for Game of Thrones being a success.

I wondered if I just imagined the lack of nude Atia in season 2. Wonder what the deal with that was. I still had to watch James Purefoy's naked arse every 20 minutes, no fair!

I should have said this before, but, It's good to have you back. :dio: :dio:

Maybe we could petition Game of Thrones to give us some nude Atia, only fair to make up for our lost chance!!

Sundays I get my weekly fill of TV by watching Rubicon and Mad Men twice each. Rubicon is slow and the B-plot is pretty flawed, but the conspiracy itself looks huge and well-written, and features an additional layer I've rarely seen in a 'conspiracy' series/movie/whatever.

Fringe season 3 has started, and it's off to an awesome start, with more of a focus on the master plot rather than the standalones which this show sucks at. Hope they can keep it up, because the last third of season 2 kept the quality level very high and they're on quite a roll.

I'm 3 episodes into True Blood and I still have no idea what to think of it. It's awesome and ridiculous at the same time. Although sometimes I get the feeling I'm watching a softcore porn movie.
So far I think the scenes without vampires are the most enjoyable.

Still watching Buffy/Angel on Netflix instant. On season five of Buffy, Season 2 of Angel.

They now also have all of Battlestar Galactica on Instant. And all of the X-Files. And two more seasons of Weeds for me to watch. And Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex.

I'm never, ever, going to complete that list.

But I have options!

My comments.

The show isn't fast-paced, but I think most fans of something like the Wire would like it.

I might have to check it out then.

Wasn't too impressed with the first episode. Least they basically debunked that it was not him who killed her and that it was Trinity.

Watched the first episode the other day. Looks intelligent enough to be worth carrying on with.

Otherwise, just starting the second season of Trailer Park Boys (great stuff) and coming to the end of Seinfeld season 3 (even better).

Haven't seen it yet? Any thoughts on how to? Downloading torrents on my uni's network sounds like a bad idea for the next few months.
