Speaking of Facebook, it's good to know that clothing advice from you guys is as if not more useful than clothing advice from people I know IRL...

You take my advice as gospel. I know, I use the word "quine", but nevertheless.

Being fair, it was clothing advice specifically for meeting the gf's family. And being fair, the most popular suggestion so far is Borat's mankini...

Family trip may be off due to family drama! If it doesn't go ahead I'll spend the weekend drinking and writing reviews (possibly) just so I don't feel like everything's a complete waste of fucking time.

Is the drama about you?

The mother: No. He's a METALHEAD, for Christ's sake! I won't have him in MY house!
Girlfriend: But mom! He's a good person! He's smart, and kind, and... he's as outwardly metal as Rick Santorum!
The mother: IT'S EVEN WORSE.

i think he means his actual family. care to clarify?

just came back from lunch. had a delicious Portuguese-style gazpacho, where the soup is a bit more watery, but the cucumber, peppers, tomato and onion come in small chunks, and the mix includes a bit of chorizo (chouriço, to use the proper portuguese spelling), accompanied with fried Petinga fish, to the point that you can even eat the bones, and washed down with two Languedoc wines. struggling not to fall asleep at the shop

I think it was his lady friend's family. He was planning his outfits for it a few days ago.

 Nah, her family. Seems to be sorted now, but still. I won't spend the weekend drinking and writing (awww)...

I've finally found my way, on religious matters.

This coming week will be my last week at work. I have had enough of serving people and listening to their ridiculous demands. Will be resting for almost three weeks before school starts again. I have bought many a great LP's and am very happy with what I have. The rest of the money that I have plus the government loan and grant will be saved for the next few months when I won't be working.

Did end up spending the weekend drinking and writing. Well, a bit of it, anyway. Pretty pissed off, but what's a guy to do?

At least you're your own boss. I'll have to get back to shitty jobs (they all are shit from my point of view anyway) in September, I can't say I cherish the thought. Getting busy has it's virtues though..

@Zad: I sympathize. What was the matter anyway?

Trust me, I'd much rather be a drone right now. Show up for work at __ time, work (I've done some shitty jobs, I can handle it), go home, get paid, smoke dope. I'd be content with that. Not forever mind you, but for right now? Yes please.
