Another one!
1) At The Drive-In -- Arcarsenal
The intro always gets me pumped.
2) Dream Theater -- In The Presence Of Enemies pt. 1
By far the best song on Systematic Chaos.
3) Jaco Pastorius -- Continuum
Awww yeah.
4) Tom Waits -- Tango Till They're Sore
"Let me fall out of the window with confetti in my hair!"
5) Vivaldi -- The Four Seasons: L'inverno (last movement)
Violin virtuosity. <3
6) Borknagar -- Relate (Dialogue)
HOO! HAH! HOO! HAH!
7) Dir en grey -- Berry
The most obnoxiously upbeat song ever, but I love it.
8) Slayer -- Necrophobic
"RIPPING APART, SEVERING FLESH, GOUGING EYES, TEARING LIMB FROM LIMB!"
9) Deathspell Omega -- Second Prayer
All the mad shouting towards the end is fucking great.
10) Thy Catafalque -- Héja-nász Av Avaron
One of the more "meh" tracks on Tűnő Idő Tárlat. Still good, though.
11) Borknagar -- The View Of Everlast
Awesome awesome song. "Explooooodiiiiiiiing... Imploding!"
12) Nile -- Libation Unto the Shades Who Lurk in the Shadows of the Temple of Anhur
Pointlessly long song titles ahoy!
13) Coheed & Cambria -- Elf Tower New Mexico
For a B-side, it's pretty goddamn great.
14) Nobuo Uematsu -- A Place To Call Home (FF IX OST)
Gorgeous.
15) Nobuo Uematsu -- Cid's Theme (FF VII OST)
Fucking epic!!!
16) The Mars Volta -- Conjugal Burns
Fucking intense Prog Rock action! Tell your friends!
17) Nobuo Uematsu -- Cinco De Chocobo (FF VII OST)
Chocobo theme in 5/4 time. Would make an awesome arrangement for a Jazz combo.
18) Angra -- Judgement Day
One of the best from Rebirth for sure.
19) Baroness -- War, Wisdom And Rhyme
Probably the most underwhelming song on Blue Album, but still pretty cool. The Mastodon influence is especially apparent here.
20) Rush -- Subdivisions
How can anyone not like this song?
21) Lamb Of God -- As The Palaces Burn
Lamb Of God really doesn't impress me too much. Also, I dunno what the hell Devin was thinking when he was producing this album.
22) Daisuke Ishiwatari -- Missing (Guilty Gear XX OST)
God, the Guilty Gear soundtracks are awesome. This ain't all metal, though, it's a piano song. Fantastic.
23) After The Burial -- Drifts
When they take that breakdown into hyperspeed at the end, it's just like
24) Darkthrone -- Over Fjell Og Gjennom Torner
Transylvanian Hunger is such a great album.
25) Deltron 3030 -- Meet Cleofis Randolph The Patriarch
Probably my favorite interlude in the album. I love how laid back this guy is when he raps.
