On Buffy season... 6? Kinda strange gloomy atmosphere to it that the continued existence of that little prat Jonathan doesn't help. Hopefully he'll die horribly soon.

Sorry man. But it sucks sucks sucks. Like, there are three episodes I'd watch again. You're probably going to finish it like I did, but the only way to survive is to turn your snark up five hundred dials. Oh, and bring a lot of booze for the episode Wrecked. You'll need it.

Started Deadwood season 2. Awesome.

Yep! I still need to finish off season 3... such a good show.

We watched episode 2 ans 3 of the new show called Flashforward. We're now totally hooked due the complexity of the plot and the fast pace. Good stuff.

And I gotta check this out, and the new season of Californication, now that Entourage has ended a pretty shitty year with a very funny finale.

NO WAI

You're not seriously telling me they have gotten their shit together and written a tangible plot with an apparent beggining middle and end are you?

Yes! And it's thematically in tune with the season's title thus far!

Four eps in and they're all winners. I mean, there's still Claire and all, but even her arc got interesting at the end of the most recent one.

When Ali Larter showed up in the teaser at the end of season 3 my palm-to-face ratio went off the charts. How many goes have they had at scrubbing all the crap they've done with her and starting again?

Brahm, I think you can see the first three episodes of Flashforward via Hulu. You'll need to see them so you have a better frame of reference as to what's going on in the show. Too much has happened in three weeks.

I caught a glimpse of Claire going all semi-lesbo and stuff so I thought to myself: "so they have nothing left to show and must resort to the one card that will always gain an audience?"

Dexter wasn't too bad. I hope it picks up soon. I don't know if I like him being anti-family but then again they're making them his family seem like the biggest nuisances possible. Lithgow and his whole I miss my mommy bit better not be lame.

@ trapt

I think, so far, that this season of Dexter is shaping up to be possibly the best yet. IMO season 3 was a let down. Season 2 was good, but overhyped. Season 1 is where it's at, and so far season 4 is as good as season 1. So far, IMO anway.

Oh, I'd never watch a TV show, especially one like that, out of order. I'll check out the pilot- not on Hulu, because us Canadian communists don't get that, but through another, possibly less legal site.

Goat: The Buffy musical episode is brilliant.

That episode was awesome. There's nothing to be ashamed of Sir Goat. In fact, that one was just as groundbreaking as the BTVS episode 'Hush'.

I have finally been sucked into the world of the new Battlestar Galactica. I downloaded the mini-series and the first episode of season 1 from iTunes and now I'm addicted.

Ha! I just finished watching the miniseries also- kind of creepy timing. I liked it but didn't love it- still, I hear things get a lot better when the actual show starts. I can already tell that Baltar will be my favourite character.

Battlestar Galactica S1 is better than the miniseries; think of the latter as the intro to an album.

And yes, hurray for musical Buffy, although you could tell that Giles and Tara (who I have a weird crush on) are the only 'proper' singers of the main characters, even if Spike and Anya didn't do bad. I'm almost sure Buffy's voice had some autotuning on it, although she does sound a bit odd generally.
