Finished season 1 of Carnivale. So glad I have the next season ready, so annoyed it's the last one.

I've heard great things about that show and I've been meaning to watch it. As a fan of all things horror and generally creepy would you recommend it?

Oh yes. Not a horror show at all, but definitely creepy. And beautiful. And well acted. And amazing.

Thanks. I'll check into it then. I watched an interview with Adrienne Barbeau not along ago about the show. The rave reviews that she and the interviewer (Count Gore DeVol of Creature Feature) gave peaked my curiousity but I never followed up on it. You and Zaddy just solidified that I must watch this show. :)

It's all that Brahm said, and more. Great, original, wide-reaching story, great performances (even from Nick Stahl, who I was sure would be shite after seeing him in Terminator 3, but he's actually excellent here) and the sort of creepiness that builds up gently and grips, from quiet eerieness to outright "WTF"ery. Highly recommended.

It sounds like a show that I would enjoy. My creep'o'meter was at it's all time high when I watched the X-Files episode entitled 'Home'. If Carnivale comes close to that then I'll be happy. :)

That's the one with the inbreds, right? It's not at all the same, but you'll enjoy it nonetheless.

Though you do meet some inbreds in season 2, so that's all fun and good and creepy. But Nick Stahl is indeed great in this show, but the best actor has to be Michael Anderson, playing Samson. Patrick Bauchau is pretty awesome too.

The Wire season 2 - getting near the last couple of episodes, shit is getting realler and realler. Love this show. LOVE.

We rent it here, so we only got to get disc 1 done of Season 2. When we went to rent disc 2, they didn't have it. So we rented the first disc of a new show called Sons of Anarchy. ZAD, YOU NEED TO WATCH THIS. It has some producers from the Shield, and there are scenes where you are like fuck-me I am watching season 8 of The Shield. Except, instead of the main characters being cops trying to not get arrested it's a motorcycle gang trying to not get arrested. It has 3 people (so far) from The Shield in it including Dutch boy.

On your next order Zad, get Sons of Anarchy.

One episode left to go in this season of Entourage and where is the laugh out loud funny scenes? I still enjoy it but it has lost some of the magic.

Got the new Stargate Universe series today...cant wait to check it out!!

Spoilers and question contained within: so were the body parts still in the back? Dexter always starts off slow but I'm sure this season will be good with Lithgow in tow.

The new season of Heroes has started good!

...again.

Time to watch slowly as it circles the abyss of repetitive nonsense.

...again.

Well, looks like Battlestar Galactica has a worthy replacement in Stargate Universe...

*SPOILERS*

I was thinking this to. But, it could go either way. I don't think the stuff was still in the back, because if it was just it would just cause way too much of a shitstorm for the show to remain realistic. Now, after a crash like that he better not be able to just get up and hide the body. So, I think he already got rid of it. But, I guess we(me) will find out in just under 2 hours.

*END SPOILERS*

thought so, we rented discs 1 through 4 and the guy at the store said that's all there is for that season. And I was thinking that there is no way.
