As I do almost every Fall, I'm now watching Friends episodes in sequential order. I'm up to The One With The Monkey right now.

It means nothing to me...

Not started Seinfeld yet, but am loving loving loving Wire season 2. Also, recently finished Exfyles season 3 and have 4 waiting for me, will probably start over the weekend.

The_Voice of reason... :D

Seriously, there's something about that movie that is pure entertaining. Perhaps it's not one of the greatest films ever but it certainly is unique, refreshing and cool in it's own way in my opinion.

And yes, we have discussed this before. :dio:

Enjoyable to people who can't tell a good film from a shit one, perhaps.

How do you think of it so far? I'm currently in the middle of season 9 and the quality has held itself on a steady level throughout the whole show. Great stuff.

So, halfway through Buffy Season 7 now. It's been better than season 6, but that's not saying much. A couple really good episodes (Selfless, Conversations With Dead People), a few good ones (Sleeper, Bring on the Night), a couple average ones, and a lot of shit. Hopefully it picks up, but The First Evil has been such a weak villain after Conversations With Dead People and the Potentials are looking to be extremely lame, so I'm not too hopeful.

And it gets better! :D

Finished the show today. Man what an achievement. At the end of season 9 it all just explodes in your face and you get the big picture. All the characters, the story and everything that has happened over the course of the show. Awesome.

Really? From what I remember (a.k.a when I used to watch the show when it was on) the quality took a huge nosedive sometime around season 7, and ended pretty horribly; I thought that this opinion was pretty unanimous.

Yeah, I think it's been great all the way. Season 7 was maybe a bit weaker than the rest (due to some weird stand-alone episodes and very few about the main plot). But it picks up again in season 8 and 9 in my opinion. There are things I wish they would have done differently on the last three seasons, but all in all they have tied everything together pretty nicely. Just awesome.

I always thought Smallville looked kind of goofy. Is it very Supermanish where you see him fly around stopping planes with his bare fists or is it a bit more down to earth?

DEXTER

+1

Just finished Weeds season 5. I said to myself I would spread the episodes out but shit, it's addictive. Watched half the season tonight and by Satan, it is such a terrific and twisted show. And what an ending!

EDIT: Seen four episodes of Warehouse 13 now. A little fun and easy show, very family friendly and all that but gets the job done.

Mentalist episode of the X Files last night. Inbred hicks keeping their limbless mother under the bed so they can try and breed more freaks - creepiest non-alien episode I've seen for a while, even if it is all like something that rhymes with The Shmills Shmave Shmies. Also, Mulder's knack of making jokes in inappropriate moments is awesome.

Also finished Mad Men s1, truly great heart-tugging ending, looking forwards to getting the next season.
