Firefly is the best tv series i have seen in at least 5 years.


I kept saying that and saying that until I saw all of Battlestar Galactica. As amazing as Firefly is, BSG is better: it's deeper and smarter.

OK, so The Matrix, Star Wars, The Fifth Element, Alien, Terminator, Dark City, Blade Runner, Close Encounters, Battlestar Galactica (new series), Minority Report, Men In Black, Firefly, X-Files, just to name a few, all have the above characteristics? :blink:

Not really. Lightsabers? the guns in firefly arent too technically advanced u know :rolleyes:

Check out the anti aircrast gun in the first 5 mins of the first episode, clearly some one wasn't paying attention :rolleyes: ?? Or the Huge kickass looking rifes they got. I would say they were quite advanced.

Well good sci fi is always believable. But Star Wars clearly pwns Firefly, and they're both science fiction.....with minimal science.

and I want a fleet of super star destroyers, packed with clone troopers (or stormtroopers, whatever)

well its come to my attention that i was wrong. There is a death start right next to saturn. No shit!

Great news that Stargate Atlantis has already been renewed for a fifth season even though four just started!! Love this show, even more so now that Amanda Tapping from SG1 has joined it full time.

Also can't wait for the Battlestar Galactica miniseries starting tomorrow, followed by the Razor episodes in November.

Cant wait! I really enjoyed the Razor Flashbacks. It had some of the best special FX I've ever seen!!
