Has anyone else heard of this band? They play... uh... well, it's rather hard for me to describe, but it's a blend of metal, rock, swing, classical (with some, but not exclusively, operatic vocals), flamenco, and more...

I should point out that the result is something that's very listen-able and fun, but not particularly challenging. So it's not going to appeal to everyone.

What's really interesting to me is how tight the band is, and how well they've integrated all these elements together on just their first record. They might turn out to be kind of a novelty I suppose (we'll see how subsequent albums are), but if that ends up being the case it doesn't make it any less refreshing and enjoyable now.

Yeah they're really cool. A lot of bands in their style focus too much on being weird but they're just a lot of fun, although their soprano girl can kind of annoy me

Remember someone mentioning them here before... could it have been noodles?

Anyway, it's quite cool, although not the kind of thing I would listen to on a regular basis. That bit about "3.2" into Balrog Boogie is pretty awesome.

Really cool band. The singer should have gone to Nightwish as a Tarja substitue ;)

They made really good point with going into avantgarde stuff instead of performing typical power metal stuff :)
