Aaron Turner, Caleb Scholfield and Nate Newton get together and deliver pretty much exactly what you'd expect from a Converge-Isis-Cave In collaboration. A few boring noise/ambient tracks aside, this is a slab of sludgecore gold that all fans of the above bands should be checking out. Stand out track is definitely "The Volcano", a spine chilling song I wouldn't hesitate to compare to Neurosis at their most apocalyptic. their myspace profile also makes for a funny read. http://www.myspace.com/oldmangloom |
