I'm actually really enjoying the new All That Remains (The Fall of Ideals).

It's metalcore, and it isn't even that original, but it's just executed very well. It maximizes on the guilty pleasures of metalcore, and does a great job of it. The clean vocals are also very impressive this time around (much less amateurish sounding than some of the recent attempts by similar bands like As I Lay Dying and The Agony Scene). Most of the songs have that could-be-a-single feel, with choruses that really jump out.

Nothing new, nothing great, but very well done for what it is, and a hell of a lot of fun.

82/100

They're supposed to be sending it to me, but I haven't gotten it yet.

All I know is that THIS SONG is a killer, killer tune!!

I really liked This Darkened Heart, so I must check the new one out. It sounds like the general consensus is that its much better.

It was good for metalcore, not something I'd care to hear again though.

This CD never arrived, but I got it in Boston for $2, and seriously, some of these songs are some of the best metalcore songs I've heard. Of course, the lame death metal on a few songs makes me want to smack these guys. It's terrible. It's not even a natural death metal voice; it's totally processed. This CD would have been amazing without that shit.

"Not Alone" has one of the best choruses I've ever heard in a metalcore song! It literally gives my goose bumps.
