Anyways I bought one of these guys's albums because I heard their singer was the frontman of Mare. Unfortunately not only did he not sing on it but the album wasn't very good, pretty standard tech metalcore that wasn't technical, weird, heavy, or good enough to be noticeable.

Anyways they just posted the track from their 2007 album "Animals" on their myspace... and it sounds amazing. More progressive, melodic and just overall good. I can't wait to hear the whole album.

Bump

and I really like Within Dividia now. I listened to it a few more times and it has some cool dynamics I hadn't noticed before.

Animals seems like a much lesser Sikth. The clean vocals are lacking.

On that note, when's the new Sikth going to get a review here? Ever?

I wrote a review of the new Sikth so hopefully that will be appearing somewhere on the internet before too long.

I have Transfer something or other by The End, I got it when I was in my maths period about 3 years ago. Hmmm it's just pretty standard, nothing you won't get done in exactly the same way with TDEP. Interesting what you say about the next one, I shall listen to it.

Sikth are OK but I don't like their delivery or either of their singers.

I used to own Within Dividia until recently and it sounded nothing like Sikth or Between The Buried And Me. Have they changed?

The album leaked. It's really mid paced and not as spazzy as I thought it would be... the last song is really beautiful

I think I'm gonna like this one a lot.

Within Dividia is quite good, not an easy listening though.

hmm I'm torn on this album. On one hand there is some really good stuff and I like the clean vocals a lot, on the other hand the harsh vocals are a little too tough guy-metalcore style and a few of the riffs are kinda jumpdafuckup (i wouldnt dare say numetal!). I think it's good but definitely not going to be a top album of 2007 like I first thought...

I listened to one of their albums at CD Warehouse the other day. I was not impressed, in fact, I was appauled.

Yeah they're not something I'd imagine you liking. The only metalcore band I can think of that you might like right now is Glass Casket's new one, but I'm probably wrong :P

I'm a massive SiKth fan, I think they're amazing. And this isn't bad eh, but it's lacking the insanity of SiKth that I like so much. Still ok

Hmm their debut Transfer Trachea has grown on me a lot. Definitely worth checking out because their first singer had a scary scream.
